Lovely location for exploring
As a solo traveler felt it was a bit expensive.

Karen and Grant are just so helpful, they are genuinely nice people and they'll host you as if you were family! The place is spotless and the common areas are huge and very comfortable. Huge plus is the hot tubs... they make sure you have clear sky to stargaze while you're in there 🤣

I love the beautiful living area and kitchen with the warm fire and outlook. Also the beautiful garden setting and the beach views was amazing. And it was super well looked after. The best thing was the hot tub nestled in the native bushes and over looking the sunset over the sea. And the hosts were so lovely. It was the perfect place for a wee retreat to rest after a busy time.

Everything!!! Grant and Karen are beautiful souls. Being in the house makes us feel that we are living in a million dollar holiday home with big lawn facing the water. The beach walk is amazing! The fireplace added the coziness feeling during stormy chilly afternoons.

You will have everything you need.
Friendly staff and nice guests we met at here.
It will be a good place to have a view of stars or milky way, but unfortunately we didn't have a good weather when the day we stay.

Good location with beach close by
Couldn't sleep as a couple were enjoying partying in the living area which was right outside my room. I also didn't realise the cost of the hot tubs.

The location was superb ☺️ Karen & Grant were the bestest hosts and just so humble🥰 and omg the hot tubs were an absolute delight and much needed. Will definitely be back again and stay longer.
What i didn't like was that we had to leave.

Staff were so lovely and friendly. Other guests staying would say hello when passing. The lodge is so clean and well presented. The bed so comfy. Great place to book out for family functions or events. Beautiful location.
Hot pool wasn't hot. Staff reported to us there was a technical issue and it wasn't heating and apologised. Paid full price for a uke warm tub, ruined the experience.

Warm welcome. Exceptionally clean and well appointed place. The lodge has an excellent design with a lovely outlook. Lovely people running it. Highly recommend.

Looked the location and the peacefulness. The weather was awesome and the owners were extremely helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the stay and the metal detecting with some interesting finds. To Karen and Grant Thankyou.
The echo of some of the louder guests but apart from that everything was great
