Excellent stay and great host. Outstanding value.

Our room was very clean, warm, and smelled really nice. Natalie is so nice and elegant, the property has lovely decorations and the breakfast was really good too!

Loved the room. Very clean place. Breakfast was amazingly sweet organised for us in a cool bag since we were checking out early to climb Ben Nevis. Small treats was even added which we loved. Only a short walk from the famous Loch Ness, the canal, petrol station, restaurants etc. Can’t recommend this place enough. Definitely 5/5 stars. +++++

Modern, comfortable B&B in superb location next to the golf course. Facilities were first class and the attention to detail was second to none. For example mini fridge in your room and freshly baked cup cakes on arrival. The choice at breakfast was better than most hotels. Indeed Kettle House was one of the most hospitable places that I have stayed in in Scotland and that includes most hotels.

There is nothing to find fault with.

One of the best nights sleep I’ve ever had. Well worth the trip. Beautiful location and the B&B was perfect. Host was very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us.

Friendly welcome, Covid secure. Remarkably clean room, stairs, reception. Strikingly good variety of provisions from qualities toiletries, to refreshments, cups and glasses, and even individually wrapped cupcakes! Comfortable bed, pillows and great ventilation but the option too of quick heat from the radiator in the room. Remarkable, laid out gardens with gazebo to sit in outside. Safe spacious vehicle parking. Cleanliness and comfort were great and so well set up by that wonderful welcome. Breakfast really was amazing. The proprietors really go the extra mile.

There was nothing not to like! I didn't like needing stay only one night. I didn't like not needing to go back to stay again for a while. I didn't like missing that breakfast the next morning .

The Garden was unique Beatrix Potter theme. The dog loved it.

Very nice spotlessly clean room and bathroom, I was so impressed how everything was covid safe! Lovely touch in the bedroom on arrival with yummy muffins. Also the room had a mini fridge and wine glasses which is a real bonus. The breakfast didn't disappoint either great selection to chose from and lovely. Good location about a 15 to 20 minute walk into town by the canal. Topped off by Natalie the perfect host.

Natalie was a great host. The hotel is quite quirky with a nicely maintained garden. The room was smaller than expected and the tv package had CNN, something I did not expect to find in Fort Augustus. The breakfast was fine and plentiful. The establishment is nicely decorated with with an assortment of quirky and funny touches. In spite of what I state below, I would stay at the Kettle House again. It's eccentric, quirky and a gem of a place.

A lift would be useful as the small spiral staircase is fine if you do not have to carry any heavy luggage. There is also something quirky and funny, the breakfast tables are named after the rooms. This means that you are stuck with the same table for the duration of your stay. Very quirky,

If I could rate this B&B 13 out of 10, I would. We are really really grateful to our hosts for a fantastically comfortable and welcoming stay. The B&B itself is great - very clean, comfortable and cosy with loads of lovely thoughtful touches. The rooms had kettles with teas, coffees and hot chocolate on offer, as well as cupcakes for guests - exactly what we needed after a very wet day in the great outdoors. It's about a 10-15 walk into the centre of Fort Augustus, in a peaceful & calm location. They've thought through carefully how to make the space Covid safe and offer a clear explanation of the changes they've made, which was helpful. They also provide a really excellent, generous breakfast (with some superb vegetarian haggis in my case). But beyond this the hosts really went above and beyond anything we could have expected to make us comfortable. After a long day's cycling in some really manky weather, one of our group got a puncture a couple of miles away and to our enormous relief, we were able to get a lift and rather than attempting repairs on the side of a busy road, could patch the bike up in a nice dry garage. Not only that, but they helped get our soaking, muddy clothes and shoes clean and dry - which made the next day infinitely more enjoyable. We are so grateful we chose to stay with such amazingly helpful and accommodating hosts and can't recommend Kettle House B&B enough! Thank you so much :D

Everything from the moment we arrived we were welcomed the room was very clean a little nice touch cream cakes in room on arrival. The garden was exceptional. It was my second stay and would definitely stay again.

Great variety for breakfast.

Everything was amazing. The design and decor was full of fascinating pictures and ornaments. The garden was full of ornaments and a fairy garden. Natalie was great and had done well to meet all the covid changes . The breakfast menu had something for everyone and the quality was excellent. The bed was very nice and the shower was hot and powerful.

Very welcoming and friendly throughout the entire stay, everything set up to comply with COVID restrictions. Room was very clean with added extras like DVDs/Plastic plates and cutlery to use outside if required. Garden well maintained with seating area, fairy garden and lots more. Lots of choice at breakfast, all prepared brilliantly and all fantastic quality. Great location, Would highly recommend.
