We just had time for a short stay, but we loved every minute. The condo is simply gorgeous, with everything we needed. The owner has truly thought of everything. Pelican Cove is super quiet and relaxing, and the pool is beautiful. I took a swim in the pool every day of our visit. The ocean swimming area is just down the beach a little (there rocks/sea urchins directly in front of the condos), but it’s a very short walk, and is also really nice (although I must admit, I loved the pool!). We are already looking at a trip back down in a few months, and will definitely stay at Dolphin's Paradise.

Comfortable condo, well-stocked kitchen, fast internet, well-maintained grounds, nice pool, close restaurant and grocery store, and great view of the beach. There was no cable, but we used the DVD and streaming services. I enjoyed reading at the beach, but we drove elsewhere to swim due to the rocks. We appreciated the beach towels, chairs, and cooler provided for our use. It’s close to Christiansted and felt very safe. We loved it and plan to return.

This condo had a lot of extras. There were beach chairs and towels for our use which was very helpful. The kitchen was nicely stocked. It was great having a washer and dryer in the unit for those wet bathing suits. We were able to have a late check-out, since our flight wasn’t until 6:00. We were very grateful for the extra time to use the pool.

Kitchen appliances were high-end, the kitchen was well-stocked with gadgets and condiments, etc. The beds were very comfortable with high quality linens - towels were provided, including beach/pool towels. Each of the bedrooms and the living room have a wall-mounted a/c unit which is common on the island, so everyone can adjust to a comfortable temperature for them. Ceiling fans are in all the rooms. The condo is solidly built, which means that we didn’t hear any noise from the neighbours during our stay. Internet was very consistent - good enough to stream TV shows on the Roku TVs that are in the rooms. We experienced a couple of brief power/internet outages while there but that is common on an island like this. The location of the condo complex is very central for getting to Christiensted or Fredricksted or any of the other sites of the island. Having a rental car is a must. It feels very safe, and the swimming pool was one of the largest I have seen in a condo complex. The hot tub beside it was a nice addition. We were not troubled by insects at all during the stay - you get a few flying things, but some bug spray helps keep them away. Sitting outside in the mornings, either on the patio, watching and listening to the mockingbirds in the palm trees, or taking the provided beach chairs down to the water and sitting in the shade of a palm tree to enjoy our coffee made the start to each day very enjoyable. Tip for guests - if you want to sit out on the porch, turn up the a/c temperature (or turn it off) in both the master bedroom and the living room so that you don’t have to listen to the noise while enjoying being outside. At the time we were there, the beach was free of Sargassum (a problem which many other beaches on the island are having right now). The beach is rocky, and continues to be shallow a long way out - not really a swimming beach, but there are plenty of those close-by. The host, Richelle, was very communicative and took time to answer all our questions prior to our stay, and made sure that we were doing well during our stay. She was very responsive to text messages. Her on-site staff, Michael, was a very effective addition. The damage deposit was refunded promptly. We highly recommend this property.

Words cannot express how happy we were with the location of the property, the condo itself and the overall accommodations. Our family of four never found the accommodations lacking. Kitchen was well stocked, plenty of towels (bath & beach), beach chairs and we absolutely loved the patio furniture and view. We loved our stay at Dolphin's Paradise!

This condo is exactly as listed! Clean and Comfortable! We have stayed in different properties before and this one we didn't need for anything except to purchase some food items. Everything you could think of was readily available.The kids really enjoyed the large pool and it was always empty when we used it. The beach was footsteps away. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. You will not be disappointed.

This is an especially well equipped condo in a nice property. It is an easy drive into town for restaurants and supermarkets are close by on the way to town. The patio of the condo was nice and comfortable for both reading and eating. The beach is nice but the entrance to the water is rocky and not good for swimming. There is a small area in front of The Palms restaurant about 150 yards away that you can get in. When we were there in January, the beach was very windy and waves too rough for snorkeling (typical for the north shore) but the weather was grand. The Palms restaurant is a easy walk up the beach or road. We waited for over a hour at dinner for our food order to be served and other patrons told us that is typical even though it was not crowded. Not good service. The food was average. St. Croix is fairly easy to get around after a few days familiarizing with maps even though the roads are not well marked. Do not try to drive the "scenic route" around the northwest part of the island as the road is nothing but potholes.

This unit exceeded our expectations as it has more than everything we needed for a relaxing stay andown sits on well kept grounds. Combined with a great kitchen, very comfortable beds and a view of the water this makes the perfect spot to enjoy all the island has to offer.

Condo is tucked away in a great location but close to town. We stayed for over a week and had a rental car so we went all over the island. Appreciated that condo was stocked with beach towels & chairs, basic snorkel gear, books to read, etc. Had everything we needed!

We stayed in Richelle's condo the first week of July 2018 and it was wonderful! The pictures do not do it justice! It was newly remodeled and stocked with everything we needed. We had the beach and the pool to ourselves the entire week! You can snorkel right off the beach and The Palms resort is next door for dinner if you don't want to go out. Richelle was so easy to work with! The tv in the master bedroom started to have some problems one evening and I txt her just to let her know and she offered to have me go buy a new one and she would reimburse me. How awesome is that?! The tv ended up holding out for us so we didn't buy a new one but I was so impressed that she offered. She provided wonderful directions from the airport and lists of nearby stores and places to eat. I didn't even have to inquire about our deposit...it was back in my account in a matter of days! You can't stay in a better place or deal with anyone better than Richelle. If we ever return to St Croix....which I imagine we will as the snorkeling is amazing......we will request to stay in this condo again! If you are considering staying here, do it! You will not be disappointed!

I only stayed for island business but the appointments certainly exceeded any "business" hotel on this island.

We loved the condo. Just as described on the site. Richelle was very informative and always answered our questions. Clean, bright, remodeled, comfortable, easy to get to and easy to travel to and from restaurants and beaches. Well equipped with everything you would need, even towels and chairs for the beach and pool. We would definitely vacation there again.

The condo was awesome!! Very clean and all the amenities needed to make you feel right at home! The owner was vey responsive to questions and special requests. The pictures are perfect and what you see is truly what you get, even the poolside visits from Igor the iguana!! I have stayed at other places and the photos can be misleading but not the case here. I would absolutely recommend this condo for your family vacation of romantic get-away!! You must do Big Beards scuba trip to Buck Island. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

The location of the Condo was perfect for us, about 4 or so miles to Christensted, and our Cab driver, Kaya was excellent! I highly recommend him, he is so knowledgable about the Island. His number is 340-201-0556, he is very fair with the price. He gave us a tour all over the Island! Everywhere we went he knew everybody! He is very well respected! And Richelle's Condo! It was Awsome! She has everything you need! We walked in the door and I was so happy with our choice! The Palms Restaurant, next door is hit, great views, great food. Check out the Mokie Jumbies, they are fantastic! The Pool is very nice too! Right next to the condo, the grounds are beautifully manicured, and I enoyed working with Richelle, we plan to return in a few years again, back to her Condo!!

The location and home were as expected. We were very active and as a result, we had wet stuff all the time. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to hang stuff on the rail of the deck because of property rules. We had a tough time drying stuff out. I understand, but then an alternative should be provided. The facility was very quiet and well kept. The pool was nice and we had the hot tub to ourselves every night. Overall, we would go back for sure.

We like being centrally located on the island, and Pelican Cove is the best fit for that requirement. The condo is lovely -- a view of the sea, but very close to the condo pool -- where we spent a lot of our time when we weren't out and about. We'll be back again next year.

Fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the surf and the gentle breeze coming off the sea. Super relaxing. I have returned to this property 3 times. Some nice updates to the patio and bathrooms have been made since I was there last. The condo is in a great location near center of island but closer to Christianstadt. There are some fantastic restaurants close by (don't be afraid to drive on the left -it's easy to get used to it) and don't miss The Cast Iron Pot, almost right across the street, local and very fresh food. Also Toast is awesome for breakfast or brunch. Salute is also very good for dinner. This condo is located on non-swimable beach (too rocky) but the beach at the resort next door is available to swim and snorkel. The pool is very quiet with no pool pigs (which I define as people who head to the pool early to put towels on chairs then disappear until after lunch and which I hate). Most of the residents are owners of the condos so it is VERY quiet. In fact, out of all my extensive travels, this is the quietest place I have ever been.

We had the best vacation ever and it was largely due to this amazing condo. The unit was beautifully decorated, the newly remodeled bathrooms are gorgeous, and we had more than enough space for the 4 of us. We had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The condo has amazing views and the whole complex is super quiet with just the sound of the ocean. The beach access was perfect and we enjoyed the entire grounds of Pelican Cove; we felt like we had the place to ourselves. There was no one on the beach, and hardly ever anyone at the pool, which is simply beautiful. We will definitely stay here again when we go back! The owner was great to work with and made sure everything was ready for us, and provided tons of information for us, including online app support with all the condo info as well as recommendations for restaurants, grocery stores, beaches and tourist attractions. The condo had everything we needed, from snorkel gear, portable cooler, portable beach chairs and super-fluffy beach towels to make trips to St. Croix's beaches super easy, to a fully stocked kitchen with a complimentary bottle of rum to get started. The kitchen even had bunches of spices and supplies to make it easy to cook. The condo has WiFi, and it is good enough for streaming video - we brought along our Roku and had no problems at all watching our favorite shows (and sports teams) on the one rainy day during our trip. I'm already planning our next vacation to St. Croix, and plan to stay in this amazing condo again!

The condo is a ground floor unit in a smallish but well maintained expanse of land adjacent to the Palms at Pelican Cove hotel. The condo buildings maintain their own good sized pool & jacuzzi, and small but delightful beach which is ideal for watching rolling waves against the sunset. Richelle's unit is on the ground floor of one of the three buildings and has good sized bedrooms and an extensive back porch. Her kitchen is incredibly well stocked- so much so that we kept discovering storage containers and cooking utensils for our in-house chef. Like all ground-floor seaside units there is an insect battle but a can of spray helped diminish their presence over time. Mornings we got a wake-up call from one of the three resident roosters (everyone seems to have chickens) who believed that he owned the place. The guest bedroom tiles and and porch screens need some work but, mostly this impressed as a comfortable, very well ventilated (we only used the fans) living space. The condo is very strategically located off route 75, with Christiansted 10-15 minutes east and Cane Bay and major food and Centerline Road shopping 15-20 minutes west and south. Along Route 75 itself there are 3-4 very good eating spots including the Cast Iron Pot, 2 barbecue stops and, farther southwest the outstanding La Reine Chicken shack. The owner, Richelle Ahlvers, was easy to work with and she seems invested in upgrading her property, which for us was a very pleasant and comfortable location.

This was a perfect getaway. The owner has everything you could possibly want and more. She is a very gracious host. We felt right at home at the condo. The breeze coming through the back doors and the views were spectacular. We slept with the doors open and heard the ocean every night. Be sure to follow her directions to the condo. St. Croix doesn't have a lot of street signs so landmarks are the best directional markers. I know this must sound scary but you can get around pretty easily. We knew our way around with in a day of driving for the most part. There are plenty of great places to eat nearby and it's close to everything we wanted to do. The beach down by The Palms was great for swimming and snorkeling too. We would definitely stay here again!

The views from the bedroom and the porch were breathtaking. The kitchen was nicely stocked. The pool was great. All this made for a relaxing vacation as we had hoped it would. We tried most of Richelle's recommended restaurants and had excellent results. Too bad the beach is not suitable for swimming, but we knew that in advance. All in all an excellent way to get acquainted with St. Croix.
