De locatie van het hotel zo dicht bij het centrum van Gouda was ideaal. Het was een perfecte uitvalsbasis om dit mooie historische stadje te bezichtigen.
De ontbijtruimte was te krap voor het aantal bezoekers. Daarbij was de voorraad van bijvoorbeeld broodjes et cetera voor de medewerkers niet om bij te houden.
Het tweede dat echt tegenviel, was de privacy op de kamer: door het toilet dat niet op slot kon en douche/badkamer als onderdeel van de kamer, heb je geen privacy ten opzichte van je medereizigers. Dat vind ik echt niet kunnen!

Vlekkeloze zelf checkin. Faciliteiten heel goed, ruime kamer. Perfecte lokatie.
Er zat een vlek in een laken. Kan gebeuren. maar hoort natuurlijk niet.
Er was koffie maar geen thee.
De douche heeft geen deur dus als je van een lange en lekkere warme douche houdt zoals ik, dan staat je hele slaapkamer in de vochtige mist....

De uitleg over parkeren met voordeel. Of het verschaffen van een kortingslaart voor parkeren.
Bij het hotel de parkeerplaats betalen met korting en dan met de kortingskaart uitrijden. Nu was het niet geheel duidelijk dat je om €2 korting te krijgen, een plek moest reserveren. Heb ik behoorlijk voor moeten zoeken op booking.com

ontbijt was niet speciaal, alles was daar, maar bij laat ontbijt werd weinig aangevuld.
de badkamer was een beetje vreemd. dit kon niet afgeschermd worden. Als je met "vreemden "logeert is dit een rare situatie, tevens was het niet mogelijk om het toilet af te sluiten

It was very welcoming. The staff was very helpful. There was parking underneath the hotel, did have to pay extra to use it but that was not a problem. The breakfast was good and it was within walking distance of the centre.
There was nothing not to like. The hotel was just what we wanted.

The hotel is located within walking distance from Central Station and the old town, the shower was big and the 'bathroom' stayed dry while showering. The breakfast smelled amazing (did not eat there) and the staff was very friendly and competent.
There was no separate bathroom, sink was behind a shoulder high wall and shower had an open entry right next to it. Additionally the light sources were distributed quite strangely, there was no room light for the bed area and the entry light was the same switch as the shower light.

Location was an easy walk from the train station , our mode of travel for this trip. We used Gouda was a hub to explore other cities in the area.. Delft and Utrecht.
Reception was not very friendly upon arrival but all other times we had a positive response.

It's a big large hotel
Bald man at the reception was rude and very unfriendly.
Bathrooms have no doors
No sufficient coffee n tea for 3 guests.
No kettles in the rooms.
No fresh towels were replaced the next day, same old wet towels were kept.
Not worth the money.

The place offered me a decent deal for a two night-stay, my room was large, the bed was really comfortable and the room had a lot of amenities, Wi-Fi coverage was excellent in my room on the 1st floor. All things considered I would say I was satisfied with the stay at the hotel.
I would say that the breakfast could be improved for a little bit, especially for a four-star hotel. I've been in many three-star hotels where the breakfast was more consistent than here. Maybe a few more dishes would change the scenery!

Located a 5-10 min stroll from Gouda centre and very easy to find. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and have everything you need. Also very quiet overnight. Breakfast is your typical continental lots of choices but the added bonus of a few hot options. Very welcoming hotel

Warm inside, thermostat is in the room so easy to control the temperature.
Modern hotel and facilities, lovely staff.
