The Location, the garden is gorgeous and the food to die for

The location right in the water provides beautiful views of the islands and sailing shows and cooler breezes to help with hot days. The place is beautifully appointed in Swahili style and the garden is lush with great pool. The food at the restaurant is top notch and the service is excellent. It is my fourth time visiting Lamu and I plan to come back. No place in Lamu matches Kijani Hotel.

Very nice set up around a small pool with turtles wandering around. Every was a good 8/10 for sure.
The only issue is it's probably about 25% overpriced for what it is.

The breakfast was very good. Some menu options were not available. The WiFi worked well.
My room was adjacent to the mosque which was very loud especially at 1-2 pm. The hotel needs better waiter service I.e. a waiter needs to be walking around taking drinks orders. Aircon is needed in the rooms but the fans were ok.

For what it is, expensive. It is in the town so noisy, no beach of its own. That's fine but it doesn't say so on the website.

Location is great...to the left Shela beach...to the right you could walk to Old Town Lamu. Food was excellent and staff were really attentive! We loved the Chess board

Very nice hotel right by the water and the boats in lovely Shela on Lamu. Good atmosphere. Nice restaurant with good food selection. Very happy about the service as well. Would really recommend this place!

The room was really clean and the roses decor was beautiful, i love the antique ambience in the bathroom and the lighting in the whole area, loved loved the se view from the room and the amazing roof top bar and restaurant. A hidden Gem!
