Did not see the owner or manager at check-in, which was a bit strange, or at any other time. We knew where we could get clean towels etc but otherwise we were left to our own devices - almost like having a private apartment.

Fantastic location, very close to swimming beach and shops.

I found the bed uncomfortable and ended up sleeping on the sofa. Problems with the bed - uncomfortably high, head lower than foot, overly soft.

Locality, convenience to the wedding we were attending, comfortable. The owner and her sister were lovely to talk to.

Parking, we were lucky (especially as my partner is in a moonboot) but if anyone else had been staying there it would have been a problem; shower was burning hot when we tried to have one on our last morning, because the irrigation was also going for quite some time; cooktop kept setting the smoke alarm off when we cooked bacon. We stayed 6 nights, and had to raid the store shed for a change of towels, tea towel. We were only supplied with one hand towel. I don't like the fact that we are making these negative comments but they need mentioning

Great location close to the shops/cafes/theatre. Room very well appointed. AC made room very comfortable.
