The room was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Daphne was a great host. The breakfast was delicious.

Daphne was an incredibly lovely host who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. She accommodated my request for a vegan breakfast without any hesitation, provided great advice for an evening meal, and would have provided me with a packed lunch as well if I had wanted. The residents lounge was a lovely area to relax and meet other guests. The property including the garden are beautiful and steeped in history. I was expecting only a simple room but it far exceeded this. The bed and room were cosy and comfortable with a very will appointed en suite. I had a wonderful view overlooking the garden and valley and was woken by the sound of the dawn chorus which was fabulous. I travel a good bit and must say that I was blown away with how amazing this place (and Daphne) was. It was reflected when talking to other repeat guests and with Daphne herself of course. If you have found this review and are undecided where to stay for your visit to Wicklow, I can truly tell you to stop searching and BOOK YOUR STAY NOW!
I can honestly say that there wasn't a thing that I didn't like.

Daphne has been at this for apparently 24 years and knows what she's doing. Everything was perfect and the breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. Decor in our large room was modern and tasteful and the shower was good. Bed was large and comfy. Quite a few things to do in the area if you have a car and are willing to drive 15 or 20 minutes.
Nothing really. There was a limited supply of restaurants in the town but that was mostly due to the season and day that we arrived, but the two that were open were very nice and very close by for walking.

Everything was fabulous. The b&b is quite stunning. Bedroom was beautiful with a very comfy bed and so creatively presented. There was attention to detail throughout. And it felt homely and welcoming. The host is a delight.

I loved everything about this BnB. Daphne is a fantastic host and made me feel welcomed and 'at home'. The place gorgeous; beautifully decorated, clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic and I would highly recommend staying here.
I also enjoyed a lovely meal at the pub down the road; Jacobs Well. The food was great and the staff were warm and friendly too.

Everything about Stirabout Lane was exceptional...from the warm welcome to our luxurious room and wonderful breakfast, Daphne was excellent. I can't recommend this establishment highly enough and look forward to our next stay

Excellent bnb in a good location as a base for sightseeing Wicklow. The room we were in was spacious and spotless.
There is nothing to complain about. I can't imagine anyone complaining.

The host was very welcoming and helpful. The bedroom included everything that was required and the bed was very comfortable. The hot water bottle was a lovely addition in the bedroom. The guest dining room and sitting room were very pleasant and access was provided to a beautiful garden. The breakfast menu was exceptional, providing a huge variety to suit all tastes.
Off street parking would be great, however I had no issues parking on the street during my stay.

The breakfast was fabulous....better than most hotels I've stayed in. Our room was lovely...very spacious and comfortable. There was a lovely sitting room for guests with an open fire. It was really cosy. Daphne was the perfect host. Couldn't recommend this place enough

This is a gorgeous b&b run by a lovely host. The room was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable and had fresh flowers and a gorgeous view out onto the back garden. The breakfast in the morning was delicious. Great location for exploring Glendalough and Avondale and Daphne had some wonderful suggestions for activities as well. The pub just a few doors down does good meals.

Room (4) slightly on small side but had everything you needed and had a lovely view!

The location, the cleanliness and the host is very kind and friendly. Beautiful room with the view of the garden. We love the warm living room with the open fire. We had a nice experience staying here. Thank you. 10/10

Daphne was a wonderful host. She has a lot of tips and advices. Her breakfast is magnificent and the B&B feels like home.
You can enjoy a glass of wine in front of the fire place. And the beds are great, we slept very well.
The B&B is close to a lot of opportunities to make the most beautiful hikes and experience Ireland on it's best!
