We really enjoyed our stay. The location was great- so close to the sea and main high street! Beds were comfortable, kitchen and dining area was well equipped. The lounge seating was just right for 5 of us (adults) but might be a bit of a squeeze if more people were staying. There were a lot of stairs, particularly if you’re staying on the top floor, but maybe we felt that more just because we were feeling the after effects of a 16 mile walk. Only small thing that wasn’t perfect was the toilet door which didn’t shut.

Lovely house , lots of room, really well set out for people to enjoy there time together. Spacious bedrooms , nice kitchenwith plenty of pots and pan , plates , cutlery and glasses so you don't have to wash up everytime you want something different. Good parking and its a short walk to the beach , town, steam railway and plenty of pubs

Perfectly located for exploring Swanage which we've not visited before and was lovely. Ideally situated for visiting Monkey World as we'd planned. Property worked well for our 3 generations of family and communications with Property owner were great.

Almost everything we needed was required. The property was very well equipped. No complaints at all however some more cleaning items would have been useful to clean up after the kiddies, before we left.

This is a well equipped and cosy house and equipped with everything we needed for a great few days along with a comprehensive welcome pack telling us all we needed to know for our stay at the property and the local area. The directions given were spot on and the property easy to find and in a great location, right around the corner from the train station and a few minutes walk to the sea front. We would defintely recommend!

Four years we are coming back to the house. Good location, serve our needs as we are four friends each have his own bedroom, good facilities in the house.

The property was perfectly located for local amenities. Lovely 4xdouble bedrooms for us all to stay with comfortable personal space. We had plenty of social space too.

Really enjoyed staying at capstone it is a comfortable characteristic property. Location was great for walking to the beach and shops.

Just the place to be with the family for our week in our favourite seaside resort. This is our 5th year, staying at Capstone, and we like it so much because it is clean, well presented, well equipped and is under a 10 minute walk from the beach. The owners are pleasant, easy to contact and supply extra essential items and welcoming treats to make our arrival pleasant and easy.

The online information is accurate but what the description and pictures don’t tell you is how welcoming the house is. From the moment we arrived everyone was relaxed. The house is beautifully furnished, beds extremely comfortable, good quality linen and towels. The kitchen has everything a cook could need, we cooked celebration meals and simple suppers. Lots of family time round the table eating and playing games. Emma was comfortable in the high chair having her tea, while her great granma played nursery rhymes on the piano. We did enjoy drinks in the evening sun sat round the picnic table. Great accommodation for family holidays, as long as you don’t mind climbing lots of stairs!

Eight of us stayed for the Swanage Jazz festival. Great location, good house. Well set up and convenient for town and beaches. We'll be booking again for next year!

Great alround experience enjoyed by the whole family. Just one word of help to avoid confusion please update info, eg bedroom windows open or closed on leaving? dishwasher full or empty, linen etc in black bags (which we couldn't find) or on the floor?. This not at all a criticism but instructions just needs simplifying. To make a easier departure.

We had a very enjoyable stay, the house was great and well equipped for 8 adults, with plenty of crockery, pots & pans etc for a larger group. The house was in an ideal location for walking in to town and the beach.The owner was very helpful and efficient in replying to emails. We would definitely stay here again.

We are three friends who meet up twice a year and this accommodation served us well. Good communal space with a spacious bedroom each. Kitchen well equipped so self catering made easy. Location was excellent. V short walk to seafront and all amenities. Swanage has retained an old fashioned charm. Plus the surroundng landscape is amazing.

Lovely home from home by the sea. Well equipped and lovely bedrooms. Nice decor and very clean. Near to the beach and town centre. The only downside was the area at the front of the house with the steps up from the road all overgrown with weeds and long grass, causing it to be uneven to walk on. A disabled or elderly person would not be able to get up them unaided, but would have to enter from the road at the rear of the house.

Excellent well equipped property within 10 minutes walk of town centre and beach. Homely feel.

We come to Swanege for our Nordic walking festival, it's the 3th year that we stay in the house, perfectly fine for our needs, location, bedrooms, parking access to locations in Purbeck. Now it's like home away from home for us.
