Freundliches Personal, guter Service, ausreichendes Frühstück, sehr gute Parkmöglichkeiten

Internetverbindung war nicht gut

Die Lage des Hotels ist am Rand der Ortschaft, sehr ruhig. Die Ausstattung der Zimmer ist ok, alles super sauber. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend, das Frühstücksbüffet ist top, da blieben keine Wünsche offen.

Die Zimmer sind von der Ausstattung in die Jahre gekommen, das Bad recht klein. Es gibt wenig Steckdosen mit kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten für Handy und Co.

Frühstück war sehr gut. Auch das Abendessen im Biergarten. Lediglich unser Zimmer ist ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Dürfte mal renoviert werden. Ebenso das Bad. Aber alles war sauber und ordentlich. Da gibt es nichts auszusetzen. Die Beschilderung zur Unterkunft war nicht besonders gut, insbesondere wenn man mit dem Rad unterwegs ist.

Die Zimmer sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen.

Superior food in the hotel restaurant

On the day of our arrival it was only 26 degrees and yet the room was a little stuffy. No ventilation, no air conditioning, no fan. It's a bit pricy.

This is a small family-run hotel, situated in a village approximately 15 min. car drive away from Bamberg. Pretty quiet location and home-like style. The hotel is easy to find and, in comparison to hotels in Bamberg, offers value for money. The restaurant at the entrance floor is a plus, especially if you arrive after a long journey and you are not in the mood of driving further to Bamberg (the restaurant is popular with the locals, so better make a reservation if you plan eating there during your stay!) The rooms are clean and the breakfast is OK, with a selection of both salty and sweet to choose from.

The beds were rather uncomfortable - pretty soft mattresses and quite big but thin pillows. We also missed the friendly touch of warm hospitality, which we have experienced when staying at family-run hotels elsewhere: we were handed over the keys upon our arrival, we received information about how to make a reservation at the restaurant for the evening, and that was pretty much it.

Staff was very friendly. Good beds. Good food. Good breakfast.

Bathroom was small and old.
