The Carmen guest house is located just 200 metres from the historic centre of Zafra, in Extremadura. Its attractive, air-conditioned rooms all have free Wi-Fi, private bathrooms and flat-screen TV.

A localização é magnífica, os funcionários 5 estrelas, tem todos os serviços necessários perto, restaurante próprio com comida muito boa e preço acessível, um parque ao lado onde pode passear em família e desfrutar de vários entretenimentos, bares onde pode comer umas boas tapas e beber umas cervejas, tudo o que precisa para ser feliz. Sem dúvida, tudo do melhor. Uma cidade muito bonita.

The room was fairly big and comfy.
The Bathroom had a Bath and worked just great.
The food and drinks were good value and quality.
I was touring on my Motorcycle and the staff offered to put my Motorcycle in a secure building nextdoor, which was indoors for the night, which I gladly took advantage of
I believe my Motorbike was very Happy.
Not much to think of.

Nice and central, managed to get parking out the front, big room.
Bed not comfortable, air conditioner barely worked and it would have been quite uncomfortable if it had been any hotter.

The hotel is outdated, the beds are very bad, the tv from 1971 . I wont stay there again.

Wonderful apartments in Cordoba's historic district. Our host Antonio was super helpful and friendly, making us feel at home and giving us many recommendations on things to do and where to eat. will be back.

Good location short 10 min walk from the main square in the old town (though not in the old town.) Friendly staff. Rooms were basic but clean and renovations looked recent.

The hostal was easy to find and I managed to park on the street about 50 metres away. It has a separate hotel reception and a ground floor bar/restaurant, Restaurante Rogelio, with an outside street-side terrace.
It is located near the large Parque de La Paz and a short stroll from the small historic area of town.
The bedroom and bath/shower rooms were large and modern and very comfortable, accessed by lift.
The restaurant offers a 10€ menu (although I think it is only available for hotel guests) with a large choice of starters and main courses which also includes a dessert and drink. I was hoping to sit outside on the lively terrace but the menu had to be eaten inside which, whilst it was rather quiet (apart from the television of course), wasn’t a problem. The service was excellent.
I had my coffee and tostada con tomate y aceite in the bar before setting off in the morning.
Hostal Carmen is good value for money and I enjoyed staying here and would recommend it.

Pleasant staff in reception. Secure car parking was just a short walk from accommodation. Zafra is a lovely town and we’ll worth a visit.
