とても清潔感あり、シャワーもしっかりお湯が出る。ドミトリーもカーテンで仕切られているのでありがたい。何よりオーナーさんが親切で色々助けてもらいました。

ちょっと中心地から離れているが、歩ける距離。雨の時がちょっとツラい。

If you want a quiet, clean place to stay, this is the only hotel for you. First of all, let me say that it is a bit far from the center of the town. However, it is only a 20-minute walk to the lake, so it is a light walk, and a tuk-tuk will get you there in no time, so personally, the distance was not a problem. Hotel el sol is a very clean hotel. I have lived in the U.S. and Japan for a long time, and this cleanliness is unparalleled at this price. And at night you can sleep well because of the quietness of the surroundings. (Hotels in the center of town are noisy with cars and people.) The owner is a Japanese who has lived in Guatemala for over 20 years and is very kind and of course speaks perfect Spanish, etc. I woke up in the morning, took a leisurely walk to the lake, and after enjoying the town center, returned to the inn for a good night's rest. I guess this is what vacation is all about. I will definitely visit again when I come to Panajachel. Thank you.

This is by far the cleanest hotel in Latin America. It’s not even close. The owner was friendly and the property had everything needed for a comfortable stay.

It would have been nice to have an outside sitting area. The location is quite removed from restaurants and activities, but it is mentioned as do in the description do we can’t fault them for that. Just an observation.

En 2 ocasiones, bajo ningún aviso previo, se aperturó la puerta de la habitación con otra llave invadiendo directamente nuestra privacidad por parte del personal del hotel.

No kitchen available for use, but there is a small fridge and free coffee, tea and water

The room and restroom was clean, the beds was ok

Was very far from el lago, no air conditioner, the wi fi had a bad connection

I ordered french fries, on the menu it says 5Q, They charged me 20Q. I asked and they gave my money to me but not all them. This is not about money this is about their attitude. Internet is barely working.
