This was an inexpensive night relative to the place and the time.

(1) The owner had put no details whatsoever onto the website. (2) He didn't respond to any of the messages we sent while we were travelling. (3) We therefore had no idea that there was no wifi and were unable to contact anyone about anything. (4) None of the eight local cafes had wifi so we walked for almost an hour before finding wifi. (5) The owner gave no instructions whatsoever as to (a) where to park (2) how to get into the property (3) how to make the most of our time there. (6) Many people may be coming from Portugal to Huelva and it would therefore be friendly to alert them to the fact that the time zone changed as we drove over the border. We didn't know this - our fault, of course! (7) The owner gave just one hour for checkin which we of course missed because of the above. We never met him or saw him. (8) Thanks to a friendly local shop owner, we were able to make a local call to the owner to learn all these things that we were not aware of - codes, keys, etc. To be honest, one of the worst arrival experiences I have had, despite using Booking.com constantly for the last two or three years. And none of this really mentions the grubby and untidy state of some of the accommodation - a non-working fridge with a faded pencilled word on a slip of paper in Spanish, for example, telling us that it had broken down.

Central location in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Parking is a bit difficult but with a bit of searching you can find something. The room is located in a kind of inner courtyard and therefore rather quiet, at least at night. After 30 hours on the ferry, it is a good, inexpensive way to relax and recover. There is also a nice green park nearby. I was able to pick up the key in a bar at 23:30. The apartment is nice and fully equipped. Zentral in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Parking etwas schwierig aber mit etwas Suchen findet man schon was. Das Zimmer ist in einer Art Innenhof gelegen und somit recht ruhig, zumindest nachts. Nach 30 Stunden Fähre eine gute, günstige Möglichkeit zur Erholung. Ein schöner grüner Park ist auch in der Nähe. Den Schlüssel konnte ich auch um 23:30 noch in einer Bar abholen. Die Wohnung ist schön und komplett ausgestattet.

Der Schlüssel war ca 1,5 km entfernt bei einer Bar abzuholen. Noch besser wäre eine Schliessbox mit Zahlenschloss vor Ort. The key could be collected from a bar about 1.5 km away. A lock box with a combination lock on site would be even better.
