Tudo foi perfeito. Depois de vários dias no La Tribu del Indio, foi difícil fazer a despedida. Ximena e sua família, bem como funcionários, proporcionam um clima de amizade, aconchego e família à hospedagem. O quarto é amplo, banheiro amplo e muito silencioso. Cama confortável. Toalha de boa qualidade. Possui xampu e sabonete, mesa/cadeiras e guarda-roupa. O serviço de quarto deixa tudo arrumado diariamente. Não tem ventilador ou ar condicionado, mas, mesmo na noite quente, o quarto ficou agradável, devido aos materiais usados na construção. Caso você não possa comer o café da manhã (em razão de passeios pela manhã), pode substituir por lunchbox ou por parte do almoço, que, por sinal, é delicioso! O restaurante possui 4 opções diárias, incluindo vegetariana, e é um dos mais baratos da cidade (metade do valor da comida da rua Caracoles). O hostal tem uma cozinha para o hóspede preparar comida ou guardar algo na geladeira. Se for para Uyuni e retornar, também pode guardar parte da bagagem lá sem nenhum problema. Há um terraço com varal e vista para o Vulcão Licancabur e outros picos. Nota 10! Fica muito próximo da rodoviária e de uma mercearia (almacén el jaimito), bem como do posto de gasolina (tem loja de conveniência).

O único ponto a ser observado aqui é a distância para a rua principal (Caracoles), uns 800m, que fica entre 7 e 10min (a depender do sol, rs). Muitas agências de turismo marcam um ponto perto da rua Caracoles (Plaza TourisTur) para iniciar os passeios e caminhar para lá (ou, principalmente, voltar para o hotel após os passeios) pode ser cansativo. No entanto, não aconteceu conosco, porque nossa agência nos pegava/entregava no hotel em todos os tours.

Desayuno abundante y variado servido en la habitación. La ubicación cercana al centro y en un sitio tranquilo es un aspecto a favor.

La disponibilidad de agua, pero según entiendo es un problema generalizado en el pueblo y nuestra anfitriona se esforzó por superar el problema comprando agua en camiones aljibes. Espero las autoridades locales asuman sus responsabilidades y solucionen este asunto pronto.

Melhor experiencia que tive com acomodação pelo booking. Recomendo para quem deseja visitar o Atacama. Quartos limpos, restaurante com pratos acessiveis e gostosos, chuveiro quente... Atendimento pelo dona e funcionarios muito atenciosos, ajudaram em algumas duvidas, permitiram aguardar no quarto o transfer após o check out e o melhor é a disponibilidade de pedir o café da manhã para viagem para os dias que tiver tour pela manhã, ou trocar por almoço.

It was very clean and the room was of excellent quality. The bed was very big and extremely comfortable. The furniture was very new and very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful and always smiling. I also enjoyed the outdoor space of the hotel.

The light in the room could be brighter. The payment process could be explained better.

Very good hostal. The room was nice and super clean (also it’s cleaned in dept every two days I was told by my neighbours) as were the shared bathrooms. The hosts were very nice too

- Probably the cheapest and best 'set menu' lunch in town. Also, the menu changes everyday. - Clean shower and toilette with hot water - Good location, only a 10 minute walk to the main street and a 5 minute walk to the bus station - Nice rooftop terrace to chill on

- Kitchen was relatively well equipped, just needed a bit more cutlery (but that's only a minor inconvenience)

Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms, with chairs, hangers and bedside tables making it convenient for travelers. The bathrooms are clean and there are decent showers. Food served in the attached restaurant is good value and tasty.

WiFi is fine in the central courtyard, but does not reach into the bedrooms - a small thing but would make things much easier for guests planning their travel. In general staff are friendly and helpful, but one did make us feel very awkward. We were told mistakenly by one person that we could do our own laundry, and then when we started doing so we were told by at least 4 different people it was not allowed (not a big problem, mistakes happen) but from that point on it felt like we were being watched as though we were trying to take advantage of something, whether we were in the kitchen or courtyard. Just unnecessary and unfortunately it did make our stay less enjoyable.

Very lovely hostel. I appreciated having a private room and the bathrooms were very clean and tidy. Bathrooms are single occupant at a time, so you weren’t sharing those spaces while in use either. Staff were very friendly, remembered me and addressed me by name when they saw me. One morning I waited outside early for a tour and the woman living in the space attached to the hostel came out and offered to lend me a coat and hat because she saw I was under-dressed. Lovely stay!

It is a bit of a walk (not bad, like 10 minutes) from the main hub and where tours drop off. I didn’t get the WiFi password when I checked in, but it wasn’t too bad and never felt compelled to go ask for it. Would be nice to have it written on a sign or something posted in the room, though.

Room size was good and the bed was quite comfortable. Wi-Fi worked ok.

shower was hit and miss and the pipes made a loud noise. water was warm but not quite hot enough. The table outside our room was part of the restaurant and people would sit right outside our window to eat

Melissa was a super host! She helped us in so many way, good size room and comfy bed

Staff super friendly, rooms super comfortable with really warm blankets for the cold nights, very clean, and perfect location. Far enough from the main street that it’s not too loud at night, but close enough that it’s only a short walk. Melissa was very kind and helpful and was accommodating when our plans changed and we had to extend our stay 2 times. Worth mentioning that it is a restaurant from 12:30 to 4:30 and it gets decently busy, so incase you’re still in your room at that time, there might be people eating directly outside your door. Wasn’t an issue for us :)

Very confortable experience with the tribo del indio hostel. They are really careful with you since your entry and very helpful whenever you have problem or doubts. They provide good recommendations on what to do in the city and the environment is very friendly.

They don't have wifi available , this was not a problem because you can buy a cheap sim card in the city. But for some it may be a problem.

The host Ximena was really nice and bubbly and the hostel restaurant offers the best food in the entire city, at a much lower cost than any other eateries. The menu also changes every day so you won't get bored of it.

We booked the hostel knowing that it doesn't have wifi as we thought it wouldn't matter much. Turns out, wifi is pretty important to keep yourself entertained in a small town.
