The hotel is in a nice location very close to the main streets and squares of the town - felt very safe. Rooms were small but had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. While it can get cold in the night, the staff can provide blankets and/or heaters. Everywhere was clean and quiet, and the staff were very helpful when we needed to organise taxis or get advice about the town. Overall it was a nice stay and great value!
The rooms are small, so don't expect to have much space or places to sit. Also, the breakfast quality was reasonably good but there were only two options included in the room price - to choose from the wider menu (10-15 options) you had to pay an extra 25MXN per meal. This is a bit cheap and I think they should include a broader range of options for guests to choose from. Other than these small points, we didn't have any other complaints!

It is definitely not a 5* hotel.
1) rooms are small
2) it’s freezing inside. No heating. Outside is warmer than inside. I slept in my warm suit.
3) for breakfast there is only one choice of eggs. One piece of bread/butter/jam. Tea or coffee.
5) at the reception they couldn’t call me a transport to go to the Tuxtla airport. No taxi or shuttle.

You can hear the noise from other rooms and it's very annoying, the mattress was too hard, the door lock was a bit lame and couldn't lock the window which made me feel a bit unsafe

Mi experiencia en Yox Hotel fue INCREIBLE.
Desde el check in Angel fue super profesional y amigable. Nos otorgó un free up grade de habitación y un early check in de la habitación. Durante la interacción supo que era mi cumpleaños por lo que al momento de llegar a mostrarnos la habitación, se encontraba un pastel de cortesía.
El desayuno que ofrece el hotel es delicioso, abundante y con un excelente servicio.
La ubicación es perfecta. Ya que se encuentra a solo una cuadra de la calle principal.
La recepcionista Karla siempre nos ayudó en lo que requeríamos.
Gracias a todos por tan linda experiencia! 100% recomendable.
El agua de la regadera en el baño salía caliente los primeros 5 minutos y luego era difícil bañarse con agua fría.

La stanza era molto piccola e senza finestra, c'era una piccola finestra
che dava sul corridoio. Mi è stato proposto di cambiare con un'integrazione perché la mia era una prenozione proveniente dal sito di booking e quella era la stanza assegnata. Abbiamo tenuto la stanza un po' malvolentieri.

I absolutely loved staying at the yox boutique hotel. Initially booked for 1 night, we have decided to prolong our stay because we fell in love with San Cristóbal vibe. The city has it all - kind and fun people, lots of local excursions, delicious food and places to explore.
The hotel is located right at the center yet nicely tucked away so it’s not too noisy. The breakfast choice is fantastic - all included in the affordable room rate.
I have to say that all Mexicans are super nice, but the people that work at this place exceed any expectations.
Dear managers, I hope you treat them to nice bonuses because they went beyond and above to help out with multiple questions throughout our stay.
If you’re thinking of going for a tour; then we went on a cañón tour 450 pesos pp) - it was a great price but we spent most of the time on the bus. Knowing this; we would have opted in for a private tour since we are really into nature and we couldn’t fully enjoy it being squeezed in a larger group. Again, that’s what happens when you pay 20€ for a day long tour.
I also liked Ritual’s cosmetics in the bathroom that made me feel right at home since it’s my go to brand for regular use!
The bathroom was rather small but it could be simply because of our budget room we prioritized :)

a localização era excelente! muito próximo ao centro de San Cristobal e com excelentes restaurantes ao redor. cama confortável e bom chuveiro.
conseguíamos ouvir muito barulho dos quartos ao lado, o café da manhã incluído não tinha nem opção de leite para o café (precisava pagar a parte), funcionários pouco simpáticos, iluminação muito ruim nos quartos, principalmente para o período da noite.

Comfortable beef, hot water, clean and nice breakfast. The location was nice, not close to the center but not far either. Waking for 5-10 min and you could reach almost any shop.
The side windows need curtains. Also soundproofing is a must. Entry morning around 06:00 lots of sound coming through the road. Thankfully though not a lot of traffic.
