Amazing location. The window offering such a grand view is simply a genius idea. The balcony on 1 side, the patio on the other, with a table and chairs to admire the view, is very enjoyable. Peaceful and calm environment. Friendly owners/managers who prepared breakfast for us and who delivered cool drinks too. Comfortable bed and pillows, clean, spacious. A/C and fan. The best asset of that room is its view, and that's what you pay for.

For $25 a night, we were shocked by the lack of facilities and amenities. Small bathroom without a shower curtain. WiFi signal is not working. Small face towels instead of bath towels, no toiletries, not even a glass in the bathroom to brush your teeth. No closet to unpack your bags, which is OK for 1 night but not for a longer stay. No electric kettle, coffee/tea cups and saucers. We've stayed in much more comfortable rooms for less money.

It is a quiet and comfortable place with all the amenities. The host Indika was very helpful in attending to all our needs.

I absolutely loved my stay at Mahaweli King's Villa. The host family was very welcoming, friendly and more than willing to help with anything. The house and room were very clean and the food was very tasty. Highly recommended!

we spent great time at room no 102 with the panoramic view of kandy. Staff members treated us so well and friendly. excellent service 👍. Highly recommend this place to enjoy your holidays at kandy.

My self and my daughter came to Gurudeniya Maha Vidyalaya for National Chess championship selection TOURNAMENT (NOVICES) and stayed for 2 days here. The host was awesome with his hospitality. He gave us a very tasty breakfast that me and my daughter enjoyed. He also made us all comfort for our stay. I really liked the view of our room. Photos attached. The outside breakfast spot was really enjoyable. Although TV was not there in our room we managed with our laptop and phone for my daughter's entertainment. But in future I recommend to have a TV for this Double room as it's a basic need that a room of a Hotel standard should have. The bed and the cleanliness was awesome. I had a very good sleep after long time(I'm a media Professional) The spot is closer to 2 small supermarkets and a bakery. Also there is a very tasty take away food shop in a 5 mins of walking distance. Overall the our stay was fabulous and hope to visit again with my rest of the family. To future prospects - I can recommend this place for your comfort stay. (See our photos) Dyena
