We stayed here over a long weekend in Flagstaff. This cozy cottage is located in a quiet neighborhood close enough to downtown but away from all the tourists. We really enjoyed the breeze on the deck, and relaxed and dined there throughout our stay. The rooms are roomy and the beds are comfortable, Christina welcomed us with goodies in the kitchen and was down the street if we needed her. We would definitely stay here again.

As a gift to our two aunts, we sent them on a trip to Arizona. They stayed the first two nights here. Our aunts are in their 70's and not well-travelled. They were nervous but really looking forward to a trip to the Grand Canyon. The train was late getting in on arrival night, but Christina picked them up and took them to the house. In the morning, she took them to the bus for the canyon tour and later that day to the car rental place. Our aunts said the house was very clean and in a nice location not far from where they needed to go. They thought the house was great and were extremely appreciative of Christina for getting their trip off to such a good start!

This was our first experience with a vacation house. We've always stayed in hotels or our camper. Going into it, I had checked all the reviews and the general location, and booked although still hesitant, not really knowing what we were getting into. We can say without a doubt, all the future stays will have big shoes to fill...really big! We loved this place. It's everything the listing and reviews said. Welcoming, warm, cozy, super clean, quiet, peaceful, excellent communication with the host, all and more! We enjoyed a rest day of playing dominoes on the porch, listening to and watching birds. We also enjoyed coming 'home' from long days.
To anyone looking for a place to stay in Flagstaff: If this place is available, book it! It's a calming place: not busy, not loud, a place you can unplug if you want, or go into the city, which is minutes away. A lovely respite or rest from traveling.

Hillside cottage is very clean and cozy. Christine is very pleasant and made sure we had everything we needed. We really enjoyed her home after a long day of sight seeing and hiking.

Excellent location, and cute little house. Very clean and inviting when we arrived, very easy to check in. Was able to reach the owner quickly and easily. Had a wonderful stay, excellent area around.

We had such an amazing time at the Hillside Cottage! The house is so clean and spotless, allowing you to truly relax. Not only is it clean, but it so comfortable and warm that it feels like home. You will not want to leave! The views are only outdone by the kindness of the host :) The fresh baked chocolate chip pumpkin bread was such an amazing welcome, after a long drive. We appreciate all you did to make our stay wonderful. We will definitely be back!

Close to town but still very quiet in the woods feel. Yard was big enough to sled in and big hill was close. The wood burning fire place made a cozy spot for our family to spend a few days relaxing and enjoying each other.

Charming house and perfect for our family Christmas celebration. Everything needed was provided including a wood burning heating stove! The Host even provided an adorable Christmas Tree, very much appreciate the personal touch.

My family and I went to Flagstaff for the North Pole Experience and we wanted to stay at a place that was just outside of downtown Flagstaff. We found the perfect place for us.
From the start, everything was great. The banana bread was great!! Everything was easy to understand and we had more than enough of everything. Our host thought of every possible need for any kind of family.
Even my wife was impressed.

We were so happy to find a beautiful cozy cabin away from other properties that were stacked on each other. The hillside cottage had plenty of space outside with a long drive for my kids to play and enjoy the outdoors! It was close to town for easy errands and food, but far enough away to not realize you were close! The hosts were great! And provided fun options for me and my kids to do! We went to the lava caves which my kids LOVED! We will definitely be back! Thank you!

We came up to visit our boys for NAU’s Family Weekend! This cabin was perfect for our needs! Two miles from campus but in a very quiet area. Full kitchen which allowed us to make meals and visit with the boys in a quieter environment but still close enough to town for shopping and meals out. Cabin was clean and everything was clearly labeled. We will stay here again!

We had to cut our two-night stay down to one night because of unforeseen circumstances. Christina was very understanding. Otherwise a pleasant and uneventful stay.

This place was a great location and the cottage is well kept. They have all the amenities you need to feel like you are at home. The property managers are very kind and give it the extra special touch.

We really enjoyed our stay. The home was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect. Not directly in town, but just a short 5 minute drive to everything. Very peaceful! The host was amazing as well. I highly recommend this property!

We loved this cabin! Great access to MTB trails and gravel routes. Great access to concert venue. Easy and quick drive to town. Comfortable and relaxing environment. Loved the porch and hummingbirds. Love that it’s at the end of the road, so no traffic at all. Thank you!

This property was in a great location for running around Flagstaff to get everything we needed for a private rafting trip on the Grand. Because the owners were just down the road, we hope it didn't horrify them to see all of our stuff laid out in the driveway and on the porch, and we hope we left it pretty clean after we were finished! We did meet them, and they were lovely; we had rafting in common. :)

The house and property were cozy. I thought "We should have brought out baseball mitts" when i saw the size of this yard. There were multiple custom touches like written greetings and banana bread that were appreciated. Great stay for our hockey tournament wich we almost won! If it weren't for those final boss firefighters lol. Thank you very much for having us. im sure my daughter will have fond memories of this stay.

Property was just as described and Christina was amazing. Fresh bread was left as a welcome gift and it was delicious. Christina has all the amenities you could want or need. Extra bedding, stocked kitchen and bathroom. The property was just beautiful. The yard is set up for relaxing with multiple sitting areas, a grill, and patio. We did not want to leave.

Great location for exploring the Petrified Forest , Winslow , Grand Canyon , Red Rock State Park and Lowell Observatory. Very nice home for vacation.

We loved all the blankets around the house and the fully stocked kitchen. The location is close to many Flagstaff attractions. It's on a dirt road, but that seemed to keep the neighborhood quiet. The house is a little dated, but is otherwise very nice.

Being from Texas and arriving to find everything covered with snow made our day

My family and I spent the weekend for a fun filled snow trip. We had a awesome weekend. The cottage was perfect, clean, warm, and great location to Flagstaff proper and the Flagstaff snow park. Christina and Bob are excellent host and we look forward to our next stay.

Perfect place to visit Flagstaff and enjoy the outdoors. Close to everything but also private and nice property to enjoy outside. Owners were very easy to work with and great hospitality!

This cottage is a prefect place for peaceful living. The neighborhood is quiet yet only a short distance to other things. I only wished we had stayed here when it was a bit warmer for this southern chick. I would have loved to sit by the firepit or have lunch on the porch...hopefully next time we stay it will be a little warmer. My husband needed to work and conduct meetings with the east coast, the internet speeds were phenomenal and hubby was extremely pleased. Chris's cottage came equipped with everything you would need to stay a couple days or a couple weeks. The home is very clean and you can tell Chris takes pride in her home. Check in process was easy and communication was exceptional. We travel quite a bit, and I can honestly say this cottage was one of our top 3 and would highly recommend it. There are so many activities in the Flagstaff area and this place is a great home base. Thanks Chris for a wonderful experience.

Christina is an incredible host and the property is very conveniently located and lovingly maintained. The personalized welcome sign and delicious pumpkin chocolate chip bread were such thoughtful and unexpected extras. We would gladly stay here again

My family and I enjoyed a long weekend in the pines at this quaint and cozy spot. Beautiful views, great bird watching, sweet neighbors. All in all, a peaceful getaway!

The Hillside Cottage was perfect for our stay! They have really thought of everything and they provide many comforts from home that you can't bring on a plane! They have everything from laundry soap and extra blankets to camping chairs and a cooler available! We don't have any babies or toddlers anymore, but they even provide a high chair and pack-n-play just in case! We have family in the area and we will definitely stay here again next time we visit!

I had a wonderful stay at the Hillside Cottage. The location is great. It’s quiet and you are surrounded by nature while still being within a short drive of downtown Flagstaff. The pumpkin bread was also a nice touch!

The house was terrific! Just perfect for our stay. Thanks for the air conditioner it really helped on the afternoons we were there.
I have one suggestion, and this by no means is a complaint, but it would be nice if there was a small table in the bathroom. Trying to juggle two shaving kits and a make up bag always left someone’s stuff on the floor.
It was a great house and a great experience.

Cozy home in quiet neighborhood backing the pines. Property is nicely appointed with everything we needed. Owners are quick to respond to requests. 2 queen beds that are very comfortable and additional air mattresses were available if needed. 2 bikes were available on property for guest use and nearby is an extensive trail system to use them. 5 minute drive to downtown flagstaff for shopping and dining. Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed our stay and intend to return
