Loved the welcome we received, hosts daughter was very welcoming and kind and it felt like nothing would be any trouble - everything was provided in the cottage including bread, butter milk and jam and cereals which was not expected but a lovely touch. Bedrooms and layout were superb and everything we needed.

Some of the cottage was a little grubby, I made the mistake of travelling with a clean freak and she kept pointing things out like dirty cupboards, cobwebs, overall I think the housekeeping was fine - floors were immaculate and bed linen. towels, bed etc all pristine.

Great communication with the owners and a lovely welcome which included a breakfast box (cereal, milk, butter, jam etc). Fabulous location to use as a base to explore the local area. Bottesford has everything you need during your stay (lovely walks, shops, pubs, great road links to local Towns and Villages).

Nothing, everything was as we hoped.

Bottesford is a super village with all the amenities you could want (pubs, restaurant, post office, coffee shops, supermarkets) and all within 5 minutes walk of the property. Hosts were very welcoming and even loaned us their brand new BBQ. Cottage is located with views over the fields and on a lovely quiet street. The cottage is also well equipped with everything you need.

Near to parents in Allington. very convenient for shops. very nice food package on arrival.

Too hot to sleep upstairs but that was due to the 40C heatwave because the bedrooms were fine.

The setting and location were first class. Very rustic and full of rural charm. The owners were very helpful and informative.

Absolutely perfect couldn't fault anything

Very clean, comfortable, and can’t think of any bases not covered. Milk, bread, butter, jam and cereal on arrival. Lovely bedding, roomy shower and attractive characterful rooms. Good, well equipped kitchen with modern touch adjust appliances and basics like s&p, sauce, mayo, oil and all the pans, knives and utensils you’re likely to need.

Peaceful & quiet. Wi fi was as good as anywhere we have ever stayed. Cottage is detached & full of character. Views from the bedroom skylights are fabulous. Dermot & Anne were really helpful & close to hand if required but never intrusive.

Lovely quirky little cottage in Bottesford, very handy walking distance to all village amenities. Dermot and Anne could not have been more helpful or welcoming and it was great to have supplies available on arrival with everything we needed for breakfast. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well equipped for self catering.

There were one or two dusty corners and lots of spiders and daddy long legs to contend with but this is a countryside risk!

Everything - the cottage was perfect for what we wanted. The beds were lush, pillows and duvet too. Our little boy lived his best life with the ford close by and seeing how many cats, dogs and chickens he could spot! Fantastic hosts, very welcoming and very helpful when we found we had left our car keys in Woolsthorpe. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you to you both. Hopefully see you again in the not too distant future :)

A lovely stay in a cosy country cottage with beautiful surroundings. Anne and Dermot were very friendly and helpful hosts with recommendations for the local area and good places to eat and things to do and we found the folder of information on the local area and it's history very interesting. Would recommend & would stay/book again.

Lovely little cottage, cereal, milk and bread provided for breakfast ideal for what we needed. Clean tidy and plenty of facilities. Only stayed 1 night so probably didn't make the most of the outside space. Very good value for money. We stayed in 4 property over 5 days on a short break in the UK, this was the best value.

Sofa Bed wasn't very comfy at all (it has 4 beds - these were comfy - so wouldn't be needed for a group of 4), TV was tiny. None of these a problem for a one night stay but would be easy upgrades
