Very beautiful place with everything you need for your stay. Can’t say enough about the views of the lake from this location. Very relaxing and enjoyable.

We loved our stay at this property. It was very large home, we loved the pool table too! Very well stocked with all we needed to cook our meals and grill out. The dock was nice to fish, sun bathe and tie up the boat. Would definitely stay here again!

Every year we rent a place for a family reunion in the area. This was the most pleasant residence we have stayed in. It was well kept and had what we needed in the kitchen. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the screened porch and watching the lake.

The home was very spacious for family gatherings. From the open kitchen, to areas on the porch were all inviting and spacious to enjoy from dawn to dusk. The grilling area was perfect for the men and ladies to relax and enjoy the beautiful sunset. We would certainly stay at this beautiful Lake house again.

We really enjoyed staying here. Plenty of room for our family and a lovely home. Well stocked kitchen and lots of games etc for kids. Thunder storm knocked out the internet and the owner had someone out within the hour. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent property and house
The house/grounds were very nice and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did notice ants in the kitchen and living room areas, but it did not take away from our stay. We just wanted to mention it because it was more than one time and it might need to be checked. Thank you.

We were in town for my nephew’s wedding. The home provided the perfect spot for our family gathering and for quickly getting around the Lake Blackshear area. I grew up in Albany Georgia so ithe stay was a sweet reminder at the beauty of South Georgia!

We enjoyed a relaxing stay at this great property while visiting family in the area. Great location on the Lake and close to Striplings for picking up steaks to grill on the Green Egg. Owner was easy to contact and responded quickly. Would definitely recommend.

This is the second time my family has stayed at the Lake House. It’s prefect location for my family’s Thanksgiving. Wonderful place, we do enjoy it!

Perfect family vacay
We had a wonderful time at Lake Blackshear. The home was very clean, roomy and the lake views were spectacular. We have stayed in many different rental homes, this is by far our favorite!!! We will be back!

This is our 4th property we’ve had (all on Scenic Rte) and this was by far the best! The house is very up to date and spacious. We did not have to bring anything extra, as everything was there for us. I especially appreciate the kid’s room and toys. This rental felt like home! We plan to only book this property from here on out!

Beautiful property
The grounds and the house is very well keep and clean. The layout of the house was very accommodating for my family. We all decided this is the house we want secure for our Thanksgiving next year!!

Relaxing haven
Beautiful 4 bedroom home with great views of Lake Blackshear. We enjoyed the sunsets and fishing on the dock of the tranquil lake. Not much boat traffic even though the lot is around the corner from the marina. We rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 day which was really easy since it was so close. We did our grocery shopping at the Super Walmart in Cordele and then prepared all of our meals during the stay so I can't comment on any local restaurants. The kitchen is really large and well equipped. This was a perfect getaway to relax and recharge during this stressful time.
