Skigaarden Hemsedal

De parkeergarage met camerabewaking. We hadden onze mountainbikes mee dus dat was erg fijn. Het appartement was modern ingericht en van de meeste gemakken voorzien. Een welkomstmandje met allemaal lekkere dingen. De eigenaresse/host was supervriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het is een echt skioord en dat merk je ook wel, maar dat deed niks af aan ons heerlijke verblijf daar. Mountainbiken en wandelen was super!

De ramen waren erg vies. In 1 slaapkamer kon je niet naar buiten kijken. Er werd rondom het complex gebouwd wat zeer waarschijnlijk de oorzaak was van de vieze ramen. Van de bouwwerkzaamheden hadden we overigens absoluut geen last. Er waren alleen kleinere pannen om eten te koken en met 5 personen waren die echt te klein. Het complex ligt aan een privéweg waar tol voor betaald moet worden. Dit staat nergens beschreven. 1 passage kost 70 nok en gaat dus best in de papieren lopen als je er iedere dag een keer langs rijdt.

We had a fantastic time and enjoyed every minute of it.

The food was excellent, also for vegetarians. Even oatmilk in the morning.

A bit more storage in the room would be nice

An excellent holiday with good facilities and excellent skiing.

Half board with good quality food. Ski in, ski out was very convenient. Staff all very helpful and friendly.

It is a 3 hour drive from Oslo but driving is Norway is much easier than in the UK and the scenery is amazing.

fab location - perfect ski in ski out and fabulous food- great breakfast and buffet in half board. Brilliant value for money

Magical stay in the mountains. Beautiful views and luxury accommodation.

Location on piste is amazing. Beginner skiers need to be aware though as the ski bus is not so regular. Evening buffet is fantastic. Quality of accommodation was very high.

Breakfast could’ve been a little more varied and English Breakfast Tea made available. More than one pillow on the beds in the apartment would be nice. Draught beer and more reasonably priced bottles of wine. The one and only bottle we bought was £70!

Fantastic.

lovely modern, clean style. location was great, just on the slopes. Food was amazing, especially evening dinner. buffet choice was excellent. Staff all very helpful and spoke great English.

Norway is expensive and so don’t expect any different at the hotel for drinks or lunch. the kitchenette in the apartments is a great addition. We made our own lunch. the cost to drive the car into the resort is a bit steep, especially if you want to go up and down a few ties a week.
