Questa casa con 5 camere da letto e 4 bagni a Folly Beach è un po 'più grande, ma bella, grande e ben tenuta con molti servizi. La casa è decorata con colore e buon senso senza le invadenti decorazioni da spiaggia che trovi in molte case vacanze costiere. Got moved to an alternative property due to on-going beach renovation this Summer. Turns out that the alternate property suited our family better. Overall a fantastic experience.

We stayed for the weekend to attend my nieces wedding and this house was perfect! The weather wasn’t great but it awesome to watch the huge waves from the house! Everyone had their own bathroom which is also wonderful! It’s a little bit older but very clean and has a great wide beach at low tide. I would highly recommend!

The house was the perfect size for our group. It was bigger than I had imagined. The furniture in the living room was newer and some still with the tags hanging off.
Very comfortable with seats that recline on the ends.
The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of utensils, cookie sheets, drinking glasses, and other supplies.
My only suggestions:
1. All mattress pads need to be replaced and most of the pillows.
2. Bigger skillets for the kitchen. We had to use a small skillet to cook only 6 scrambled eggs at a time which was a challenge for a larger group.
3. Some more mixing bowls would be nice too.
The island was awesome with great local restaurants, shops, and other things to do. Some of our favorites were Rita's (great smoked wings), The Lost Dog Cafe (great breakfast and coffee), Taco Boy (great tacos), and Center Street Coffee (they had a list of favorite drinks which you can change up if you wish). One of our favorite restaurants was just over the bridge from the island at Bowen's Island Restaurant. Fresh seafood, great drinks, and service was fast and very friendly. We will be back!!

The property was even bigger than advertised! With 5 separate bedrooms and a sunroom with beds everyone was able to have their own space. The house sits ON the beach so we only had a few steps to be on the sand. Just a short drive to Charleston made the rainy days fly by. This is definitely a property to put on your short list!

Simple and beautiful. The water comes in all the way to the house during high tide. Everything we needed was available in the house and near it. Folly is perfect.

If you select this home, you are selecting a house that is literally on the water and beach. The location is the primary draw. The beach is clean and wide at low tide; and 15 feet from your beach stairs (or closer) at high tide. We loved the beach access and convenience of having the house so close to the beach. This was especially welcome because we had several young kids (under three years old). Folly Beach is a funky place; the most "Keys-like" place I've seen outside of the Keys. The house is 15+ blocks from the Folly Beach downtown area and that is a positive. You can go to town if you want, or hang out away from town and enjoying beach, water, relative quiet. The house is a tired, old girl. Enjoy the location; the house is serviceable. The pictures of the house are better than the actual. The accessibility of the beach is the best benefit and probably worth it, but be aware, you are not renting a clean, up-to-date, modern, well-appointed house. You are renting the beach access (and it is wonderful).

Awesome location! Big enough for 3 families
Seascape Wonder was the perfect place for 3 families to stay. We had ages ranging from 7-81 and it was great to be oceanfront. We had stayed in this home years ago and the updates made it comfortable for all. It found it very clean upon arrival And for the most part, well stocked for items we needed for our stay. A couple of items that would only make the stay better- add cookie sheets to the kitchen items and add some lower cabinets by the kitchen table. We did stay in a few nights for dinner and dinner prep was challenging due to lack of counter space. All in all, it was a great week and we would definitely rent Seascape Wonder again!

We were there late February through March 6 and the weather was generally 60s and low 70s. Could not have asked for a better place to stay - will have to come back! The group we had utilized all 5 rooms (plus one additional porch room with a single bed) and it was perfect. As a warning though, UBER drivers do not like coming out this far onto Folly Beach during rush hours. You will definitely want to rent a car if staying at this place and you want to get around and to Charleston.

We were there mid-December when things are quiet and not crowded, but it was an unseasonably warm week so that was nice. Saw lots of dolphins off shore and enjoyed watching the surfers.

Atlantic R & R
We came across the country for a wedding and wanted to stay where we could easily walk out to the beach for a stroll or water activities. When at the house, most of our time was spent on the decks, watching sunrises, stars from the rooftop, and enjoying the roar of the waves. Although the decor of the house is a bit dated, the outdoor spaces made up for it.

Family/Friends Vacation
My husband, two daughters and I rented this property with our close friends and their daughter for 10 days. The best part of the house was the LOCATION!! You are right on the beach, so it doesn’t get any better than that. The house is spacious, comfortably sleeping 10, and almost every room has a bathroom attached. We ate most dinners on the deck which was spacious and a great gathering spot. Some aspects of the house needed some TLC/updating (window in the master bathroom leaked during a storm, some door knobs were loose/jiggly, and some
doors got caught on the flooring), but those didn’t ruin our stay. The majority
of our time was spent on the beach and we can’t wait to get back!!

Location is perfect. We rented bikes to ride into the center of town, which was easier than parking a vehicle. The house has a nice sun deck with 4 lounge chairs and a wonderful covered deck with ample seating. There are 10 steps to get into the house and 10 steps from house to beach.

Family beach vacation
The house was very nice and experience wonderful. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean and comfortable. Awesome location with beautiful view of ocean The only issue we had was I felt the kitchen was not well stocked for a large family. We had 8 people present. Many dishes and cookware were not clean upon arrival and we had to wash. The grills were very dirty and my husband spent 45 minutes cleaning the larger one before cooking. Overall I rate this a very positive experience.

perfect ladies gettaway - a few recommendations for owner/manager
Perfect 4 days for 11 Mom-friends! We LOVE LOVE LOVE this property :)
Recommendation - need a little more porch furniture if the place sleeps 11-12, should be seating. We brought 4 plastic Adirondaks with us b/c we knew from before and that helped alot! Also need a broom to sweep up sand as it accumulates (even with tidy moms :); recommend a mat inside by the deck door for damp and slightly sandy feet - but those are just some little touches!

We had a great stay at the Seascape Wonder. Renting the property was simple and when we had questions, the company was quick to reply. The home had a few things that needed repair but these really didn’t hinder our stay. We loved that the house was farther from the main strip for more privacy. We also loved that we had direct access to the beach. We wished that there were more chairs for the deck, especially lounge chairs like what were shown in the pictures. The WiFi was also not very reliable but to be expected considering where we were. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this property.

Great stay!
We (family of 5, kids aged 10-14) had a great time at Folly Beach. Seascape Wonder was exactly as described - a roomy and very comfortable place right on the beach. The views couldn't have been any better and in April, although the water was a little cold, we had the beach almost to ourselves. Not a glitzy or glamorous place, sure, but great for a family to enjoy the beach. Was a mile or two to the actual town of Folly Beach which is a bit of a haul but that was a positive - really quiet area and still easy to go out to Folly or Charleston.
