La zona era abbastanza vicino al centro, anche se non è stato facile trovare parcheggio, è la struttura non ne offre di privati (oltre a non aver dato alcun consiglio quando ho chiamato avvisando che stavo arrivando)

Host poco disponibile: il portone del palazzo è difettoso e si fa fatica ad aprire da fuori, quando l’ho notato uscita per andare a cena quando ho fatto una prova per verificare se la chiave funzionava, ho scritto subito all’hotel chiedendo se poteva aprirmi lei al mio rientro (verso le 21.30 quindi non tardi, e lei abita nello stesso palazzo), mi è stato risposto: non so se potrò essere a casa, se sono a casa si.. (?? Per fortuna poi sforzandi più volte sono riuscita ma altrimenti che faceva, mi lasciava fuori?); terzo piano senza ascensore non si è offerta neanche di dare una mano con la valigia (non era chiaro che non ci fosse l’ascensore); appena sono arrivata c’erano tutte le finestre aperte e la stanza si era letteralmente riempita di zanzare, ho mandato un messaggio per chiedere se c’era le piastrine con le zanzare, l’host ha letto ma non ha risposto costringendomi ad uscire ad acquistarle. L’ambiente si vede che è stato appena ristrutturato quindi sarebbe anche carino (a parte che tutto il mobilio è della linea economica di Ikea e il letto molto scomodo) ma pecca nella manutenzione ordinaria e nella pulizia, peli di gatto sulle lenzuola, water sporco, vetro doccia difettoso che ha fatto sì che sia allagasse completamente il bagno, mi sono stati lasciati due asciugamani (uno grande e uno piccolo per il bidet, nessuno medio per il viso), nessun kit tipo bagnoschiuma ma solo sapone per le mani (dispenser grande che utilizzano tutti i vari ospiti consecutivi), su un ripiano c’era un piumone se si aveva freddo, che avrei voluto usare se non fosse che era senza un copripiumimo quindi usato da chissà quante persone… insomma riassumendo poco disponibilità della host e poca pulizia/manutenzione/accoglienza/servizi. Viaggio molto per lavoro, da questa struttura non vedevo l’ora di andarmene

La struttura si trova all’interno di un edificio d’epoca tenuto benissimo, siamo rimasti colpiti da come la locanda chic è stata struttura in ogni piccolo particolare. Tutta completamente arredata in modo semplice e moderno, con un servizio pulizia eccellente, colazione fantastica e completa di tutto.

Locanda Chic is a great location for a stop in Grosseto. The whole property is spotless clean and full of light. Recently renovated, all looks fresh. Breakfast is good, mainly sweet things but well prepared and the breakfast room again looks nice and fresh. The main asset is Sofia who is friendly and helpful and she welcomes you in her place warmly but not intrusively, which is something I really appreciate it. You know she is there for you.

Nothing really. Just remember there are 3 flights of stairs, but it’s a beautiful building and you can stop and relax on each floor to look around 😏

Beautiful apartman. Girl who is there is nice. And she have beautiful cat 😊 Everything is clean.

It was all very nice and very clean and the bed was very comfortable so we could sleep well.

For breakfast, maybe to add some ham and cheese, so it is not only sweet stuff to make a sandwich.

Our room was cozy & comfortable. Big bathroom, comfy beds. Breakfast was small, but delicious. The hostess was very friendly. We enjoyed our stay here.

The only minus there wasn’t air conditioning, so it was very hot in the room.

The Place is simply amazing, even much better than the photos. Everything seemed brand new and it was perfectly cleaned. If you are doubting where to stay, just stop searching, this is THE place.

If the weather is hot, it is really hot in the room. No lift, and a lot of stairs, so just take that into account. Otherwise everything is great.

the place is very well located, close to the train and bus station also the town Centre is just around the corner. place is comfortable, super clean, Sofia is super nice and helpful.

The breakfast was very nice with lots of options, self-service. Big kitchen with fridge in the commonroom. Our room was very clean and pretty, provided with tovels etc. The host was very kind and helpful, replied in short time when messaged. Also very nice location close to the trainstation and the town centre. Would love to come back

Be aware of the check-in times, we arrived early so would have preferred to check in earlier than 17:00, but that was our mistake

Our host was very welcoming and it was a real treat to get local advice. She provided a first class breakfast, many home made items,beautifully laid out with lots of options. The bedroom and breakfast rooms are spacious, airy and very clean, with big views across the city and beyond. A very modern en-suite bathroom too. The location is city centre, everything accessible.

I’m not sure if it is made clear how many steps there are up to the apartment? I had particular difficulty with that but arriving at La Locanda Chic, it was well worth the effort.

La Locanda Chic has very pleasant and tasteful decor - it appears recently refurbished. The landlady was also very helpful in obtaining information about what nature areas I can visit in the area and how I can get to them. This is a formidable feat as in Italy it can be difficult to find out how to get to nature areas with public transport. So well done to Sophia for this.

Unfortunately, the management needs to vastly improve customer service. 1. I had one dustbin in bathroom only and this was never emptied all throughout my stay. It ended up overflowing. 2. Toilet paper was not replenished. Eventually it ran out and in the middle of the night I had to go to what I realised was a store room to take some rolls of toilet paper myself. 3. While coffee facility exists in the common kitchen-dining area, there is no electric kettle to boil hot water for some kind of tea. When I asked for some tea, I was given a frying pan to heat water on a conductor cooker and a cereal bowl to have my tea in. This is not only inefficient but also dangerous. It took me a long time to heat some water in a frying pan and had to put the cereal bowl in the sink so as not to drop boiling water onto me when pouring the water into the cereal bowl. Given there is no elevator to reach this B & B, one would close an eye to walk up three flights of stairs to this B & B if the service was more decent.
