We love the bay side and this was perfect. Great location. Plenty of space for everyone. Outside deck was great for watching sunsets and grilling

The house would have worked out well for us but the thermostat wouldn’t work and we couldn’t get the house to cool off before bed time. We are a family of 5 so there was plenty of space for us (we didn’t use two of the rooms to help the cleaners).

The house was very nice & clean. The central heat was out. They got it repaired, however the owners controlled the thermostat, and we could not change it. I would probably not rent this home again due to that. Otherwise, the house was great.

Beautiful, comfortable home!! The listing needs to be updated. 2 of the 3 bedrooms had bunk beds even though the listing showed only 1 BR with them. Listing also showed an area outside for a dog. It is not there now, so thankfully it was not an issue for us. If you’re expecting easy walking access to the beach side, this is not the place for you. However, the bay, right outside the back door, does have a small “beach” area for you to sit. During our stay, the A/C stopped working. One call to management had repairmen at the house within 30 minutes. A/C was quickly up & running again! It was a wonderful relaxing stay!!

We had a wonderful time, the island is charming. The bay side is peaceful and the gulf is a blast. The house was nothing like it was online. Check in is at 4. We arrived at 4:05 to around 5 people still cleaning. Doors open, music blaring and wet floors. We went out to the bay to wait for them to finish. Is was around 30-40 minutes. The 2nd downstairs on-suite that was advertised as a queen was in fact bunk beds. It was a queen on bottom I believe, but my parents stayed in a bunk bed. I bunk bed they couldn’t sit up in or watch tv in at night. The mattress was directly on the slats with not box springs and what loosely resembled a foam top mattress. The other bunk room with 4 beds was fine and matched the online listing. The bathroom in the hall had a shower/tub that leaked no matter how you closed the curtain so the bath mat was always soaked. The king master was matched the pictures for the most part. The bathroom was configured in such a way that the shower door wouldn’t open all the way because it slammed into the toilet bowl. Light bulbs over the sink were also burnt out. It had plenty of towels and useable wire shelving. The bed was so hard and there was sand all inside the sheets. I assumed they washed the bedding but the sand didn’t come out. May be due to the washer and dryer that were small and very dated. Master had a beautiful view of the bay. The den had leather furniture. It was nice because of the sand issue but the cushions are well worn. May be time to reinvest in something new. The kitchen was minimally stocked. Bring your own stuff if you want to cook at all(oven was broken) The dishes we did find and use were all dirty. Some cooking pans were so filthy that it left grease and residue on our hands. The dishwasher is old & may not be getting it clean. The sink faucet has been installed upside down. You have to push up to turn it on. The table was a great size and plenty of seating with a great view. The spiral stair case upstairs was missing some foam protectors on the sharp and hard corners. All but one had fallen off. These are a must and need to be replaced! The upstairs bed situation was as pictured, albeit uncomfortable. Mini fridge leaked, went through ceiling and dripped downstairs. Mold growing on the door upstairs. Water didn’t work in the bathroom, never tried the toilet.Gulf access was difficult if walking. Deck is in great need of repair. Rusty nails. Under house had a swing and chairs. Was a nice cover space.
