For the price, overall this was not bad place for me, my husband, and infant. Definitely a little outdated but plenty of space for us with a large master bedroom. Although the unit does not face the ocean, you get beautiful sunset views over the Halifax river. Check in was easy and the property management company was easy to communicate with. Good location to restaurants and local things to do beyond the beach. Only reason for less than 5 stars is due to the floors being dirty upon checking in. We couldn’t walk barefoot in the unit without our feet turning black. However, everything else seemed thoroughly cleaned. The bed was not very comfortable and the bed frame was super wobbly. The kitchen could use a little more supplies. Stocked very minimally with plates, cups, pots/pans, etc. It seemed like it was stocked with previous renters items that were just left behind. Be aware there are full time residents living in this building who you can tell do not really care for the renters.

We love the Ormond area. If you want a quite vacation, this is the place. Came down for a week at Easter for some sun and fun at the beach. The balcony of this unit faces the road, not the beach. At 1st we were disappointed, but it really was not a problem.

We like ormond beach, its a little less crowded there. The condo was nice and not busy. Check out the views from the eleventh floor! One down side was we only had a street view which was not clearly presented in the booking information.

Stayed here during speedweeks and Daytona 500 week. Worked well as a base for activities at track. It’s about half hour to the track. Would like to come back and get to use the beach/pool since the weather wasn’t the best this trip. Thank you for my stay.

Very nice 1 bedroom great location

First the good: The property is great! Clean, comfortable, secure and great beach access. The building doesn't seem to have a lot of rentals and the tenants there were friendly and helpful. Perfect unit for one or two people. If it had a beach view it would have been perfect but I knew it didn't going in. The management...not so great. A key fob is required to get access to the building. I arrived late at night and was sent a text (not from the Vacasa number) of a picture of instructions on how to get the fob. I had to go to a dark parking lot, use an access code to go in to a dark hallway, use another code to open the box and get the fob. As a woman traveling alone I was VERY uncomfortable. Thankfully nothing bad happened but there has to be a better way - or at least better lighting available. The worst part is after my departure. In my haste to get out by the 10am deadline I left some items in the room. They were on top of the dresser. I called Vacasa the next morning and advised them of my mistake, asking if they could ship me the items. I got a surly woman who told me for $25 + tax she would notify the local manager and they would get back to me. I inquired as to why they charge a 12.5% tax for this service and she said she didn't know she just puts the number in the computer and that's what it says. I paid the $28.13 fee, gave her a specific list of what I left behind and waited to hear back. It's now been almost a week and I have heard nothing. Not even a call to say they don't have them (though I am 100% sure they are there. Because of this experience I won't be renting this unit next year, nor would I recommend it to others. The property isn't so great that it is worth the poor management.
