Loved this sprawled out property! It was so big and well kept, definitely a chefs home! We ate great meals, enjoyed the full moon under the big sky, great view, loved the rocking chairs in the patio area. We didn't use the firepit but it was such a cute set up. The beds were so comfortable and the hot tub was great. Thank you for a great stay!

We booked this house as our place to stay for our wedding weekend. The only thing I would change on the house is to have a bathroom added to the kitchen/living room section of the house since it’s separate from the bedroom portion.

Clever idea for a brandominium. Nice industrial design with great decor. We had 5 women in the house and there were not enough towels and the towels available had a sour smell. We had to buy towels locally. Otherwise it was a great stay.

The house was lovely and as described. There are two buildings separated by a breezeway---a living space and sleeping space. The living was clean, bright and had great views of the property. The breezeway truly was "breezy" and would be amazing in the Texas summers. The road as others described was a little rough, but I was able to get to the house just fine in my low minivan going slowly and carefully. The day we arrived, a strong cold front came thru keeping the outdoors below freezing. It would have been great had the house supplied firewood for the amazing fireplace. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and we cooked in it everyday. The Solo Stove and hammock did not get used by our group as it was too cold. We did use the hot tub and was great but freezing to walk wet all the around to the house since the nearby doors were out of use. We would rent this property again in a heartbeat.

The house was lovely and as described. There are two buildings separated by a breezeway---a living space and sleeping space. The living was clean, bright and had great views of the property. We loved our stay however, we did have a few hiccups. The master bathtub had a very dark dirt ring in it so all three couples shared the other bathroom. The yard needed some serious TLC as we couldn’t make our way to the fire pit area, hammock or the hot tub without going through overgrown grass. Other than those minor issues, we enjoyed our stay. The management company was very quick to respond no matter the time and handled most of our concerns the next day.

This property was very nice. They had pretty much everything that was needed.
This was a nice property! The only thing I would suggest is face towels and to trim the grass some in the common areas of the property. Oh also we seen baby scorpions.

The outside areas were severely unkept and brush scraped along your vehicle as you came down the drive. It appeared no one had mowed the grass or trim a bush in a year.

We were all very happy with our stay, we just wish that it were cleaned. We paid for it to be clean and we had to stay in a dirty living area. The coffee table and dishes were dirty. We had to go in and clean and then figured out the dishes were dirty because the top rack was not high enough to clean the plates. We washed everything before and after. The location is beautiful, great views, hot tub was working and had chemicals ready for use, the living fireplace was perfect, and we loved that the living room and bedrooms were separated in case others wanted to stay up later. The wineries are close by as well. One thing they should change is the location of the hot tub, it would be way better suited for the breezeway area. Great spot, I would re visit it for sure.

Spicewood Rental in the Texas Hill Country
Overall we were thrilled with the property. We rented the home for 49 nights and it was great. The property was exactly as stated in the online listing, including the pictures. We had complete privacy (even saw deer and coyote walking by), but were only minutes to the city. The kitchen was very well equipped - any chef would find themselves at home. Included were a stand mixer, gravy separator, smoking gun, beverage dispenser, pie plates, tea kettle - the list goes on and on. We even had a Bose radio for added entertainment. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds comfortable. We enjoyed the extensive cookbook collection, as well as board games and puzzles. Morning coffee and evening wine on the breezeway, looking out over the trees, was a pleasure. The house was conveniently located near distilleries, wineries, golf, hiking, Lake Travis, restaurants and quaint Hill Country shopping. We would definitely be interested in another long-term rental at this property. The only drawback was that the property did not have a washer/dryer. Since we had family nearby, it wasn't an issue, but would have been much more convenient if there was a washer/dryer on site. Also, the master had a tub, but no shower. Again, no issue for us, as there was a shower in the second bathroom. Turnkey Rentals was very responsive and we highly recommend them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Hill Country gem and hope to be back again next year!

My rental experience started off a little shaky. I had turned onto the wrong gate entrance, after seeing the mailbox on the left side of the road in the dark, and ended up at the neighbor's home across the street. He wasn't very happy, to say the least, and barked at us 4 girls to leave his property. After crossing the road and entering our rental, we were still a little distraught as we were unpacking and winding down. That is when one of my guest found an underwear at the foot of her bed, lying on the ground. We were shocked and confused as to why it was there, all things Covid considered. We were under the impression that this rental, and all rentals, would have a higher standard of cleanliness during this time. Those two incidents aside, we did enjoy the scenery and amenities provided at the rental. The home was lovely and I can tell TurnKey put a lot of effort into the design and style; everything looks exactly like the listing photos. We did wonder why there wasn't a washer/dryer at the home, assuming people would be willing to stay longer than we did. We also had to reach out via text to get more lighter fluid for the fire pit (the bottle was empty) and paper towels (there was only 1 quarter of a roll left in the kitchen). All in all, the rental is beautiful and the property is serene, but there were some missing details and is room for improvement.
