We enjoyed the short walk to the beach through the park. It was unfortunate to have construction going on which obstructed the view that we were looking forward too. Overall the house helped make our stay in Ventura an enjoyable due to the proximity to the beach.

We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the location. The house has different living room furniture than pictured. The kitchen is adequate, it has some new small appliances. There was a shortage of washcloths in the bathrooms. The ongoing construction across the street was not that big an issue with us. However, future guests should be aware that the view to the west is obstructed due to a 24 foot high wall. The constant flow of trucks coming and going every day except Sunday from 7am to 5pm may disturb some people. I would suggest the staff close the window blinds in the upstairs windows rather than leaving them up. When we arrived on a fairly warm day, all the blinds were open and it was extremely hot in the house.

Enjoyed our stay. Little hot upstairs when we arrived but we just opened a couple of the windows and it was wonderful! No ac. A superb location right by a park and the beach and ocean!

The house was exactly as it appears on the website. The house looked clean, but was actually not clean, especially the floors. I expected a cleaner house since we were required to pay a hefty cleaning fee. The kitchen is old and outdated. It is almost impossible to cook dinner on the stove (only 2 burners). The refrigerator was very large. We loved sitting on the rooftop deck. The back bedroom on the first floor needs to be updated. The bed is falling apart. The master bedroom is spacious, however the mattress is very uncomfortable and the comforter is musty. We enjoyed staying at the house, but for the cost, updates and better cleaning would need to be made for us to stay at this home again.

Beautiful, clean property in a great location. Stayed for 4 nights and had a great time. Property is well equipped with everything you need including some beach toys for the kids, body board, and fishing supplies. Centrally located to several attractions, the central coast, and LA. Had a great time, hope to stay again sometime in the future.

Home was clean and gorgeous; master bed off kitchen leans on one side but manageable. BEWARE - the house code was texted to me but the inside alarm code was embedded in a separate email so make sure you have both codes when entering! Vacasa confirmed a firepit was on sight a month prior to our stay; there was no firepit but upon inquiry vacasa provided a small refund Overall would stay again but vacasa needs to be a bit more organized with codes and confirmation of amenities

Property is nice. Location is great with all amenities nearby. We would stay here again.

We loved the view of the ocean and the park. Lovely places to walk, everything was so close, the grocery store, Starbucks… It was so quiet in the area was so clean, the park, the streets. Great dog watching

Home needs to be updated. Clean but way too much junk (pots, pans, etc.) in kitchen. Stove needs to be replaced. Very old Gaggenau and only left burners can be used (right is a grill which sets off the fire alarm you say). Front burner pizo lighter not functional so I had to repair it. Need more shampoo and conditioner in bahrooms. Checkout time is 10 AM, cleaners came at 9:30. Not good.

Girls trip - loved this property ! Location was spectacular- view of park,beach & ocean was mesmerizing. Kitchen stove top could use an update - other than that , no complaints

Loved this home for a 3-generation weekend near family that lives in the area. Excellent roof deck with bbq. Views over Marina Park to beach and harbor. Will stay again.

I stayed with a friend and some of our teenage/young adult children and friends while attending a 4 day music festival at the Ventura Count Fairgrounds. We brought bicycles which enabled us to get to and from the venue in about 15 minutes each way. The property was spacious with big windows, great views and an awesome roof deck. All bedding and furniture were nice, clean and comfortable. Garage and driveway could technically park 4 vehicles off street. The only room for improvement worth mentioning is the kitchen. While it was well-lit and clean, we thought it could use a more modern stove and a larger selection of better cookware. So, if you're fussy about that kind of thing, maybe bring your own paella pan or whatnot. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!
