The toilet was not cleaned every day. On the last day, we even saw a live cockroach walking near the bed.

ROOM CONDITION IS DIFFERENT.

Service was really exceptional and the location could not have been better.

ANA Crowne Plaza Fukuoka is a very centrally located hotel. Very close to Hakata Station and many shopping/dining options nearby!

Check in was simple and straight forward. Our stay was made very pleasant by the superb staff. Their courteous and helpful attitudes were excellent. When we mislaid an USB flash drive just before we checked out, they made a thorough check of our room and then shortly afterwards, by then we had travelled to another city, they emailed us to say it had not been found. At that stage, with some embarrassment, when we were unpacking we found it had been caught up in some clothing and so was hidden in our luggage. Our room was very good with very comfortable beds and all facilities worked well. We will be staying there again.

Excellent experience from start to end. Checking in was a breeze. Staff speaks good english by Japanese standard. We had arrived way early (travelled from Kumamoto to Hakata, making arrival time abit difficult to gauge). Hotel had allowed an early check-in & complimentary breakfast for us; this was a very pleasant surprise - we greatly appreciate their gesture. Hotel housekeeping also helped cleaned our room even though we had opted out for one of the days. Breakfast was a good spread of international & Japanese food. The front manager at the restaurant converses well in english too and was very professional. We had checked about taxi-transfer to airport on our last day. The lady at bell-captain counter made efforts to share info with us and helped make notes of our need (date/time of departure via taxi) and her colleague on duty on the day of our departure readily kept a lookout for the arriving taxis (2 vehicles) helped us with the luggage and greeted us goodbye. The hotel is within short walk from JR Hakata station. There are restaurants, convenience stores along the way and outside the hotel. On the whole the staffs were great in hospitality! We are always greeted with a sincere smile. A very pleasant and homely feel to the entire experience. We will certainly love to visit this hotel again in our next visit.Thank you! Location is good, breakfast spread is good, staffs are very friendly especially Ms Kim. Carpet seems abit old and dirty though….

No vending machines. 5 minutes from Hakata Station. Everything was too far away. Not staying here again.

room is a bit too small. not enough king size bedroom and the in-room furnishing and decor is a bit old.

Only positive point was the location by the Hakata train and subway station that takes you to the airport in a few minutes. Other than that, just average low for the price and no amenities. If you want to use the exercise room or the swimming pool you have to pay extra, while other hotels give you that and much more for no extra charge. Poor light fixtures on the room and dark. There are better hotels in the area for this price or less.

They charged 1000yen for using pool and tried to charge another 500yen for using gym and extra for sauna or bath.Those things should be explained in advance not later I think.

The room is very small for double occupancy, but otherwise very clean.

The staff was very kind. service was fine. Auxiliary facilities was satisfied.

Clean and tidy, early check-in was also available at that time. Employees are very kind when it comes to the facilities management.

Room was musty and didn’t have good air circulation. Pool and bath sauna was nice. Breakfast good.

Staff is excellent

perfect location for people travel in Hakata station, follow west exit then turn left when you come out on the street, keep walking for about 7 minutes, hotel is on the right hand side cross street, bus terminal is on the first floor level of Hakata station, stop 11 for Fukuoka airport, 500 Yen per person, will take you to Domestic terminal, free shuttle bus if your destination flight is at International airport.

Facilities are not clean and some of them are broken.
