It’s always a pleasure staying in the best Western in Newport, Oregon. It is one of the nicest hotels in that very dirty town,
They don’t offer free breakfast like most best westerns, but they have free coffee downstairs and a restaurant that’s reasonably priced.

Enjoyed the view and the customer service. The restaurant food was excellent! The restaurant accessibility was a bit hard for my husband. I recommend chairs in the handicapped room to have arms for ease of getting up and down. We would definitely stay again!

The room is clean and standard. Feel that the hotels.com app needs to re-evaluate their pricing guarantee. Couldn’t get the directions to work, so looked up the hotel website itself to find our room advertised for $50 less. Manager would not make it right or move us to a more comparable room for the price paid. Toilet paper holder in room was broke so when you grabbed tp it fell to the floor and rolled out of reach.

We needed a place to unwind for a day. The property was nicely done, clean and relaxing. There was a tiny bit of dirt in one bathroom corner and the bed had a slight depression from other people sleeping there. Still a nice time and we’d stay again. Do wish that there was at least a small breakfast credit at the restaurant since there isn’t a free breakfast.

Other than the "off site" parking , up to the 6th floor then walk across the bridge to the building, it was TERRIFIC !!!!.....the room was extra large....spottless...smelled fresh....very comfortable, slept really well...the veiw of the ocean was wonderful.....the location of the property was very easy in and out, with lots in the area....everyone smiled....the Night Manager and PM desk clerk on 9/14 were wonderful in helping us the situation regarding the Refrigerator in our room...if passing through I would definitely stay again....

We were put across the hall from a room with a yelping dog for two days without being told. We didn't complain initially because a housekeeper on the morning of day 2 said they were checking out. Not so, we had yelping on night #2as well. When mentioned at checkout about the dog barking and we got an indifferent and not too concerned "I'm sorry". No offer of adjusting our bill or any consideration for our 2 days of being disturbed.

Beautiful hotel, clean, quiet and perfect amenities. Would highly recommend and we personally will never stay at any other hotel in Newport again. And the staff were all absolutely wonderful. So polite, professional and pleasant, eager to assist with anything I needed. BW Agate Beach is my home away from home. I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful hotel.

We loved the location next to the beach. Sunsets are amazing from the ocean view room. I highly recommend the restaurant and eating outside at one of the tables with the fire in the center.

Everyone was very kind and helpful. Easy checkin and out.
Amenities were wonderful. The only suggestions I have are 1)put a mirror over the desk area.
2) Paint or clean mold from jacuzzi...the water looks dirty.
3) Add another time for adult only swim...like 4-6 when kids are getting ready for dinner. The late night option is great, but it would nice to have another time also.

This was a last second call after booking and leaving a woefully dirty motel nearby.
And thank goodness, what a beautiful hotel with a big clean comfortable room. Everything was really nice, and we slept super cozy. The view in the morning of the beach and lighthouse was spectacular.
The parking lot situation is a little strange with a skybridge, but the elevator was super fast and efficient so we barely noticed it.
Would definitely stay here again, it's worth it.

BW Agate Beach is my favorite hotel on the Oregon coast. Very friendly staff, always clean. Comfortable beds, spacious rooms. I always bring my chocolate lab and we LOVE that we can walk right out of the hotel on to the beach!

Gorgeous uncrowded beach! Very friendly staff Emaculate rooms. Comfortable beds. We enjoyed it here so much!

The room was comfortable and modern. Easily locate amenities offered by the property. Beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was warm and friendly. I had a problem with the door leading to the balcony. They sent a maintenance person who fixed it but after he left it went back to not operating well and sticking. I let the front desk know upon my departure.
