I liked the view from my floor. Only 1 elevator was working and it took over 5 MIN to wait for it, people would walk to the other side to go sit down. Their staff was also using the same elevator. I was crammed in the elevator with soneone transporting linens because i had already waited so long.

I enjoyed the comfortable room and felt safe .

Very tired and dated- only one lift was in operation for 7 floors. No self parking only valet which was pointless as the car park is a surface car park and the spaces to park are located as soon as you turn in to the property - so you basically park yourself at an exorbitant rate of $45 plus tax per day. Two botties of water in the room but you had to pay $1.50 per bottle Nice enough pool area but limited sun on it due to its location Washing machine ( no detergent provided - an extra cost for this) and dryer at a cost of $4 per wash and per dry - the most expensive I have encountered on our travels. White Clothes came out with dirty lines on them where I pulled these from the washer so the seal must have needed cleaned. Despite booking months ago and arriving just after check in time, there was apparently only one room left which faced the main road so the noise from this extremely busy road (Highland ) was awful. It was almost impossible to enter the car park for the volume of traffic which didn’t leave a gap for cars turning in even when their light was red. This hotel has had its hey day but still masquerades as though the visitor is lucky to be there and happy to be ripped off at every given opportunity.

The fact that Valet is the only choice for parking is WILD! I didn’t feel comfortable leaving my key with someone. We should have options. $45 for parking is crazy work. Not knowing that there was extra cost for booking with a third party shouldn’t be a penalty. It is a nice place . But the elevators are tiny and take FOREVER to operate even when you get in.

Labor day weekend and only one elevator was working, making for LONG waits and LONG trips up and down as it had to stop at every floor. Expected more for the price.

It was all in all an excellent experience. We even got our room early with no fuss. Very comfortable and relaxing. Staff were very accommodating and friendly.

Everything was excellent. Two areas of improvement would be that the pillows are super soft (a little uncomfortable to sleep on) and the parking was super expensive

There was a fee for any amenity and hotel did not even have body wash or slippers

It was the worst stay ever. The receptionist didn't anything. She gave me the room key cards none of which worked. And she didn't give the breakfast vouchers either. She asked me for the hilton membership info to redeem the water free of charge. Finally I am charged now. I have very long term customer of Hilton but I have never ever been pissed up with Hilton. You must avoid the receptionist, and the hotel must fire her who has NEVER helped any of us. Please let me know how to refund the water charge.

Lovely clean hotel and close to universal. Would stay again!

Hilton Garden Inn Hollywood posted what was apparently an "error in rate" when I booked it in January. Straight from the airport with a car full of kids and arrived at the hotel for them to tell us they will not honour the "error rate". Hotels.com had to find us alternate accommodations, after 90+ mins to a much less desirable hotel, but Hilton was awful to not honour their error.

This would be a 5 star all day if I got the room I ordered. 2 queens. The shower only had cold water and no pressure. Also they charge $56 for valet parking only to put it in public parking across the street where they charge $20. I was also charged a destination fee of $25. The room was nice and the hotels location was wonderful.

While the property overall was fine, the poor attitude and service by the female employee at check in on 7/23 around 3pm was enough to make me choose a different hotel for my next stay in L.A.

It’s at a great location and all the Hollywood attraction are nearby. So, my most of the stars go there. Couple of things that would have been a better improvement: 1. Front desk to be more responsive e.g. I asked for extra towels and no one showed up then I had to go and get those on my own 2. Overnight Parking charges for guest at $50 with tax seemed pretty high

The hotel is a high standard and very comfortable with all you would expect from a Hilton even with a TGI Fridays attached. The Valet is an added expense ($55!) on an already $250 per night stay which I don't agree with but they don't leave you much choice. The surrounding area is very dirty and unfortunately has a lot of homeless people living rough which appears to be a big problem in most cities now, but their are a very high proportion here, so it's not recommended to wander around after dark and be careful during the day time.

Everyone was very friendly, nice and we were greeted with great smiles from everyone! The ice machine didn’t work and the night front desk employee offered to take my bucket and get some for me.

Great place for families

Nice accommodations, perfect for our quick overnight. Very close to the Hollywood Bowl, which is why I picked this location. Great sushi just up the street. Nice staff and convenient, late night restaurant off the lobby for a late night snack. Would definitely stay here again!

Didn’t say anything about a charged valet with only 1 parking attendant. The guy was great but since he was the only one there this caused traffic on since it located in a busy street. And since the cars were on property. It was also unclear where the breakfast was and we ended up getting charged for breakfast.

Convenient for the concert. TGI Friday on site was very helpful and good!!

Great location for Sunset and Hollywood Blvd visit. Ideal location for those visiting Hollywood Bowl for a concert as you can walk about 15 minutes to the concert venue. Parking situation was an absolute mess half the time we were there. No knock on the attendants, but apparently the hotel owners decided to allow pay for parking for non hotel vehicles. This lead to several incidents of complete chaos when trying to get into or out of the parking lot. Otherwise room was clean quiet and our rooms were made daily, something that seems to be less likely to happen in other hotels. Overall enjoyed the stay outside of the parking issues.

It was clean, convenient location wise, parking available, and a restaurant inside the hotel. It was perfect for our event at Hollywood Bowl.

This property is not what I would consider Hilton quality. The AC in our room worked for about 10 minutes and then started blowing hot air called front desk. They sent a security guy and said it seems to be working fine. Slept in a 78° room all night. However, it's convenient for Hollywood bowl, concerts, walking distance

The parking is an absolute joke. They say its valet with a $45 a day charge. My truck was left unlocked when they parked it for the night. However you do not have a choice of parking if you stay at this property.

I misunderstood the complementary breakfast and was charged $20 not expected. You should also mention the $45 per night valet fee

Super convenient. Within walking distance to Hollywood Bowl. Great choice hotel!
