Friendly staff, clean hotel, room and bathroom large enough to be comfortable. Breakfast was a little disappointing but sufficient.

Always our choice to stay in St. John’s. Best waterslide, friendly staff, no smashed car windows, good breakfast. The rooms are always clean. I did notice a coffee like stain on the mattress protecter under the sheets but considering how clean everything always is it isn’t a concern, that’s the ONLY thing I’ve ever noticed here and we’ve stayed multiple times and will continue to chose this hotel. Great job to all staff :)

Overall everything was great and the staff were very friendly. My only criticism was the breakfast, as the stations were not well set up. The waffle maker was around a corner, half way down the room. Cutlery, napkins and some condiments were behind a wall next to the window. There was one cereal choice also in that location, while other cereals were elsewhere on the opposite side. Disappointed that bologna was the only meat choice instead of the usual bacon and/or sausage. Not meant to be a major criticism, rather just trying to give a picture of the poor layout. Breakfast staff were great. Also liked the location of the hotel.

Breakfast there was absolutely nowhere to sit amd multiple guests waiting for tables which would take up a lot of time for a family who had a busy say we did not get to avail of the breakfast because we could not wait the length of time to be accommodated for seating.

Fairfield by Marriott St. John's Review I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Fairfield by Marriott in St. John's, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The property was excellent. We came from Ontario for a family celebration. The continental breakfast was beyond expectations for variety and quality. Easy access to Avalon Mall and restaurants.

I think there should be some upgrades like new Keri’s machines and bring back own personal body wash and lotions!!! But a good hotel staff nice and Friendly!!!

It was a lovely experience

Our granddaughter enjoyed the slide. We stayed for 8 nights. The shower door had the same soap stains on them on day 8 from day 1. Our sheets were not changed once in that 8 days. Housekeeping made beds, emptied trash, that’s it. No refill of coffee or tea either. We had the free breakfast on our first morning there and went out for breakfast every other morning.

We are a family of 4 staying for 6 nights we found the room we stayed in did not have enough storage to place clothes sufficiently for 6 days. There are two drawers underneath the TV but that only holds a few things. There is no other shelf storage to place clothes for the 6 nights we stayed. To keep re-using towels (environmentally friendly) so the hotel doesn't have to wash as many towels, there are not enough hooks or areas where you can hang towels for a family of four. We all get showers each day and there are maybe 2 or 3 areas to hang towels that they can dry effectively, let alone no where else to hang jackets if the towels are taking up the 2-3 locations for hooks. There should be a multi-tiered towel bar or something similar on the wall of washroom so it's more convenient or hooks on back of WR door or something else. The room is designed for two people and not friendly for family of four for any duration longer than 2-3 days. The hotel should look at this as people will look towards getting airbnb instead of hotels if it is not convenient to do daily tasks in the hotel room easily. The pool and slide were great. Staff were always great when we interacted. Laundry facilities is great to have on premises. The breakfast was better than expected! We think there should be more options for non-milk products (there was almond milk) like soy or oat milk. For oatmeal, there was only sugar-type oatmeal and not just plain.

Nice spacious room. Staff person at front desk was amazing. She gave us great ideas where to eat and visit. She made our whole trip better!! Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was decent. Very happy with all aspects of our stay!

Good location

Enjoyed our stay. Relatively quiet, nice breakfast area but the awkward flow (e.g., cutlery at the very end of the kitchen, plates in the middle, etc.) made for a crowded breakfast area that lacked flow. Breakfast food however was perfect. There are no fans in the bathrooms but otherwise rooms were very comfortable and staff was kind and accomodating.

There was garbage left under the pull out bed. The wifi was horrible! On regular cable and Netflix; the mouth movement didn’t match the audio. Terrible. Had to turn it off! My son brought his PlayStation and could not connect to your server at all. When I inquired; was told it’s an on-going problem. I will not book there again☹️

We enjoyed everything about our stay, especially the hot breakfast. Enjoyed the one time 25.00 fee for our dog. Usually more expensive at other hotels.
