Very convenient hotel close to everything. Love the bridge over the marsh with a beautiful sunrise and sunset views. Decent breakfast. Will definitely stay here again!

This was our sixth time staying at this Best Western. it is the nicest one either of us have ever stayed in. Friendly staff, decent and plentiful breakfast included, clean and comfortable rooms. A lovely outdoor patio and a pool. Best of all is the location, right on the edge of the park.

We arrived early and checked with the desk to see if a room was ready and they graciously let us check in early. The staff was super friendly and we had no issues with the hotel or staff. Breakfast has several options every day and the staff makes sure everything is full, hot, and clean.
Our room was listed as a room with a view of the lighthouse. This is the only thing I would change as there is a tree that is right on the edge of the property of the hotel and museum that blocks your view of the lighthouse. Had we been first time visitors to the island that might have been more disappointing, but the view of the refuge is still beautiful from the balcony.

Unfortunately, we had an interaction with a staff member that was unprofessional and extremely unpleasant. She exhibited aggressive behavior, and we were not treated with respect.

One of the best motels we’ve had. The room itself is large, well appointed and everything works. Staff was efficient, helpful and welcoming. It rates a “5” in every category.

This is the PERFECT hotel for those visiting Chinoteague National Wildlife Refuge; the bridge to the NWR is basically just down the street a few minutes away.
Check-in was fast and friendly. Room was super comfortable and clean. We even had a balcony outside! Good Wi-Fi but the TV was too hard to figure out with strange channel numbers.

The customer service was great. Garry was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was in a great location and very clean and a pleasant place to stay. Continental breakfast was also great! We will definitely stay here next time we visit.

My friend and I have been coming to this hotel once a year for a long time. We come to spend time on the beach, to see the ponies, to eat amazing food truck meals and to take boat tours of the island. This hotel is perfect for us; conveniently located, clean, with a decent free breakfast and a lovely pool to cool off in after a day at the beach.

We enjoyed staying at the Best Western for our family weekend in Chincoteague. We arrived early before our room was ready and the manager was very helpful. She let us use the pool and lounge area while we waited. The pool was absolutely fabulous. We really enjoyed all of the plants, flowers and landscape. The room was comfortable and quiet. I noticed the maintenance gentleman took great care in keeping the grounds clean. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend. We will be back for a fall trip!

My frustration with the place was when I walked in the sand that was in the hallway, and in the bathroom was significantly more than if I had run a vacuum cleaner over it. I realize we’re near a beach, but I need to have a clean room if you are going to have to pay over $300 per night. The tub was dirty with spiders crawling in it. Comforters on top of the beds were dirty they looked as though they had been on the beds for at least three weeks.
On the other hand, the bed was comfortable, sheets and towels were clean, and the breakfast was an outstanding variety. The front desk was very helpful when I asked directions for places.
I would not give more that 3/5 stars.
