We went from US to India for a week. I booked this place as it had good reviews. This is one of the best places in Surajkund but not the best. Place was okay but staff was very courteous about anything we needed. Breakfast was very good. This is a four star hotel. It’s not Taj it’s Vivanta by Taj😊. They had us a room on smoking floor and we had 2 kids. Floors in our room were sticky as the building was pretty old. Some areas were renovated and new like the lobby and some very old. Our safe got locked and SURMESH the guy who addressed every situation was awesome. He was always there with a smile on his face. He was so humble and respectful. We stayed for 4 nights and it was a comfortable experience. Overall a good time.

This is the nicest hotel for the price-range in all of Delhi. A huge pool with views, access to the spa and excellent restaurant.
Immaculately clean and beautiful lobbies and gardens, this is the perfect hotel to escape the crazy business of the city. It's a little bit further out, but still only £5 in an uber to the centre (25-30 mins) and £8 to the airport. This also makes it a very peaceful and tranquil haven.
Recommend without hesitation.

Good for calm staying and nice location at Surajkund road but inside the room is required renovation for better atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, but needs more attention to cleaning in particular bathrooms. I stopped in 2 different rooms and both in need of updating and deep cleaning. Suggest changing the shower plumbing as current one is too old and doesn't work properly.

Very nice hotel could use a better cleaning crew though found the bottom of the vanity to be filthy left a wrapper under it and saw it there next day as well thick dust on picture frame

Excellent property with great staff. We were upgraded to a very nice room which made the stay so much more pleasant. Staff members were excellent, polite and genuinely willing to to help and make the stay memorable. If you are visiting the Surajkund International Crafts Mela, this is the best place to do it as you can walk to the fair.

I stayed at Vivanta about 7 years ago and it was fantastic - beautiful, clean, great serivce. But on this most recent visit, the room looked a bit old and worn. The floors were not very clean, and there was a slight sewer smell in the watercloset and shower. This was in a Premium Room.
Not a big deal since I was only there for one night, but it isn't what I remember.

Reasonable price level but moldy odor of the bathroom made me unpleasant.. maybe due to not so frequently use of the room.
Considering the name value of Taj, not so satisfied mainly due to old furniture with the color of the furniture which in my opinion to be bright not dark..

The property is beautiful. But the room service and housekeeping tend to suffer if the property has an event going on. I experienced it first-hand. Sought help from the housekeeping staff two days before check-in for a service and was assured that it would be done. Repeated my request on arrival and then on the day I needed the assistance (which is not part of the room amenities). The staff kept me waiting till the last moment, did not take my calls. Finally, someone who was not a professional was sent to my room at the eleventh hour. Very disappointed and found the guest services not up to Tata Group standards

The staff was rude and blamed everything on the hotel being over booked
- I had booked twins beds, they gave me a king bed.
- they gave me a smoking room and didn’t inform me. When I went to my room I realized the room was smoking because I have asthma and smoke doesn’t work with me. They said j would have to wait 45 mins for the rooms to be ready

Actually very dissapointed about the level of this hotel.
The rooms was very worn and old and not very luxury.
It smelled like petrol on the halls and also in the room.
Good things, was good service and food at restaurent and overall very clean.
But I had expected much more of this hotel. The pictures of the hotel and rooms give an expression of High quality and luxury, and this was not the case.
I will not recommend this hotel if you are looking for a holiday break and a place to relax.

Very nice location near to Surajkund. The dining facilities are excellent, including the famous Paranda restaurant. Staff very polite and courteous. The rooms are spacious compared to some of its more modern peers in 5-star category, but in urgent need of investment to upgrade the technology elements. There were 2 back-to-back wedding events during my stay, and event crowd management was lacking which ended up inconveniencing the resident guests!

This property cannot be rated as a five star hotel. It barely meets a 3.5 star as per Australian standards. The fundamental issue is that the infrastructure of the property needs to be massively upgraded to meet a five star standard. The staff are making an effort to keep the property clean however things like scratched floors and degraded basins and floor edges cannot be attributed to the staff effort.
Our room was very dusty with the curtains torn and full of dust. We sought to check out early but the hotel refused which made us feel trapped in the hotel. Everything about the hotel is 3 star and I am very disappointed that Expedia has it as a 5 Star hotel. This is very misleading for the customer.

It was good experience over all. The hotel rooms are spacious and the service is excellent.
