Newer hotel. I can tell when a hotel is managed well. I'm a stickler for a clean well managed hotel. I usually try to stay at a Holiday Inn Express as most of there locations have either been remolded and many locations have been newly constructed such as this one. On the west side of town, an excellent safe location. Restaurants within a half mile. A very well clean managed hotel. Excellent stay!

Good staff. Great looking room. Very clean. People slammed doors in the Halway most of the night; until about 1:30am. People above were running around. We could hear them turn on light in the bathroom and could also hear the water.

Our stay was great. Kim at the front desk was so spectacular at check-in and check-out and offered so much useful information. Wonderful experience and excellent customer service. Would recommend to anyone staying in Amarillo.

Everything great … other than there wasn’t any coffee cups or extras already in room so had to go down to lobby to find some… and some shady people hanging around the back of hotel (from my window view) lurking around the empty parking lot. (Only reason I was concerned is because my vehicle was only one on that side that afternoon but I wanted it in view of my room).. and ended up moving it bc nervous.

Great stay at the Holiday Inn express. This is a very nice hotel with large rooms and very comfortable beds. My room also had a small couch. The front staff were amazing and very hospitable. Also, the morning breakfast is excellent.

I was not given the room I booked I was given 2queen room. The microwave barely worked and then stopped working. When I reported to front desk it felt like it was not a big concern. My husband and I are on strict diets and required the microwave to heat our food. It was not replaced before we checked out. Also the breakfast was not good and the coffee is mediocre.

Hotel stunk very badly in lobby and hallways, a very bad musty smell. Rooms werent as bad but still not great.
Shower water pressure was very low. Bathroom cleanliness was mediocre. Bathroom towells had small stickers on them, appearing to be new/never washed.
Canceled reservation for last part of our trip because of it.

Everything was great about the hotel other than our bathroom in our room. We checked in late and have two small children and we were ready to shower and go to bed to find urine on the floor in the restroom and hair on the shower wall. Front desk offered to switch our room but I already had my kids down and didn’t want to move them. Manager the next morning said she would take a look and work something out for us but I never heard back.
