Safe, central hotel with walkable amenities. Smart, courteous, professional staff.

It’s a convenient location only 0.5 to 1 km walk from the ATM, drug stores, Ching Hua hospital and Cebu Doctor’s Hospital and many restaurants. The room is clean, large, attractive and modern. The breakfast buffet is simple but acceptably good. During the day, it’s a little noisy because of the street noise. Overall I liked it. It’s a good value and I recommend it.

It was very convenient for me--to go downtown, uptown, shopping, church, and everywhere I went. The facility, if there's something needs to be done -it's handled right away. The staff, from the receptionists, the Halo Restaurant staff, the maintenance or housekeeping crew, the management personnel, and the guards were very nice and courteous.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the room was nice and very adequate. I will cherish great memories of my visit there.

Despite me traveling excessively to get to the location, the hotel advised me that they had no rooms, and that Expedia was at fault and should refund my credit card. Please action this.

Our booking with Expedia was declined by the hotel. This was a terrible experience to say the least. I am still waiting for a full refund of payment.

The staff is great. The facilities need maintenance.

No hot water, the staff moved us to s different room but apparently no hot water in the whole hotel and it us normal. Very disappointed and still waiting for a refund

First impressions were positive with a friendly check in experience. The room was OK, but a bit worn and tatty. There was no hot water. We reported the problem and were told that it could not be fixed until the next day. It was late, so we accepted this. The next morning we again reported the problem before going out. We returned early afternoon and only then did 'the engineer' come to check the problem. He could not fix it, mentioning something about a centralises system. Senior Management did their best to avoid us, leaving junior staff to handle our complaint. They offered another room, again no hot water. Finally they said they could bring buckets of hot water for us to wash with. Call be fussy, but I think running hot water is a prerequisite for a 3 star hotel. We asked for our money back so we could move hotels. They refused, saying it was not their policy. We decided to leave. We booked into the Quest hotel for slightly more money than we paid at St Mark. It turned out to be vastly superior.

Excellent boutique hotel. Spacious clean rooms, some with a balcony. Clean bathrooms and soft towels. Comfortable bed and clean, soft linen. There’s a fridge, water kettle, sat tv and fast wifi. The restaurant is small but cozy with a good selection for buffet meals.

The Staff were very professional, the room spacious and great location with surrounding eatury joints.

The location was the best. Everything is within walking distance, less than 10 min walk to food area, shopping, church across the street. Night life happening and busy. Wish I could stay longer.

Ok for a night, clean but very average, pros: the food at breakfast was very good, Cons: we didn’t like the smell of the room.

Washroom flooding with them knowing about it and still, they are booking the room to clients. There was water leaking into the other room I booked. So disappointed. I will never book in this hotel ever again.

We were very happy with this hotel. It was clean, spacious, comfortable, and the staff were great. They even handed out complimentary cookies with personalised, hand written tags on NYE which was very sweet. The only complaint was the lack of hot water in the shower. The area also didn’t feel that safe late at night. Other than that, we had a great stay!

The room was nice and clean, air-con was good and in room facilities good. There was no hot water though and had to shower in cold/ lukewarm water. The room service menu looked great, but nothing was available to order except the club sandwich. It arrived and was terrible. I couldn't eat it.

We just stayed over night. Nice place, location was great.

Very nice and helpful staff all over, superb and effective check-in, room with good bed, good shower and curtains with excellent blending. The hotel is best in class in value for money.

The place is clean, comfortable and they have good friendly staff. Breakfast and service were good. However, we were not informed when we checked in that room cleaning is by request so we were surprised when we got back to the hotel and found our rooms still messy.

The rooms were quiet and no complaints about noise. The water in the shower had a sulfur smell, I suggest letting it run before getting in. Staff was friendly and attentive. Food, breakfast/lunch buffet is not good at the restaurant at hotel. I must admit that there were not many choices for quality dining in the area either. Neighborhood around hotel is rather impoverished. I did not have any issues regarding crime, and found most people to be friendly, but not a great area to be in general. The sidewalks and roadways are in very bad condition. Please take note if you have any mobility issues or are disabled, you may endure some difficulties in getting around. Nightlife consisted of mostly girly bars, looking for "customers" for the evening. My complaints are about the location and not the hotel or staff. This is a 3 star hotel in a 1 star area. If I ever return to the area, I could stay again.

It was great, I love the location very close to the Redemptorist church, and to the airport, we got a very warm welcome with a glass of cold juice, staff are all friendly and helpful👍

Everything was great and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous but I did have a problem with the WiFi the entire time. I believe they were in the process of fixing their router but honestly this is a great and unexpected find and the location is also very good.

Good and comfy place for extended stays. Great tasting food. Staff is courteous and friendly. Cant go wrong for staters.
