Great spa bathroom and sunroom

I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff were all very kind welcoming and excellent. Breakfast was varied and delicious. The bed was very comfortable. I loved having a private onsen and was surprised by the healthful effects of the hot spring water. There are nearby hiking trails. On a rainy day I took the free shuttle to the metro station and visited the excellent museums in Taipei. I would love to visit again for a longer stay.

Walking distance to the Thermal Valley. The property is nice and quiet A bit inconvenient as it is located up in the hillside area, but the hotel does provide drop off and pick up down the hill.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Double One Beitou. The room was large and clean. The tub was clean and the view was nice too. Great service and friendly staff.

Service is excellent, super friendly, hot springs inside the room , and breakfast is great . In general. It's highly recommended. The manager is super nice and helpful. Great job

Very courteous staff. I especially like the personal hot spring inside the room, but lighting is a little too dim in the room.

Having spent 30 years in the customer service industry, I was amazed by the connection and awesome level of service privided by Amy at the front desk. She was all smiles, couldn't help enough and just made us feel like we were at home. She deserves all the kudos for making the hotel feel so special. We loved our room and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

We booked forever suite with mountain view, but the room they put us in didnt have mountain view, we called, the lady at front desk said that room has it, but was dark (night time), so we couldnt see it. i called back letting them know there's no way it has the view, because outside the window it was apartment buildings and streets, that was when they said they upgraded our room without extra charge, becasuse we asked for an extra bed, and since i didnt specifically note i wanted mountain view, they didnt think it was a big deal. I dont like the fact that i had to call them back for them to tell me what actually happened, plus the description of the room already says mountain view, so why would i specifically note i wanted mountain view? Thry ended up giving us the room we booked, we did have view of the mountain, but most of the view was apartment buildings, the wall of the hotel, and their interior landscaping. To call it mountain view is bit of a stretch. The TV is broken, the AC started spitting out ice in the middle of the night. Staff is friendly, the interior design but the furniture is dated. The bedding is comfortable.

I had come to the hotel thinking that an additional bed could be requested on-site, but realised such requests needed to be put up earlier. However after my initial disappointment , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a call from Andy, the manager, who told me he can't promise anything but will try to do his best to see if the additional bed could still be arranged. It ultimately came thankfully. 🙏 Their breakfast was better than expected , and I would rate Asian dishes a high 8 . Their service staff were very helpful with our other requests and even changed our room because of wifi issues that night. Overall a very pleasant stay! Only con: distance of the hotel from main road is a little far , even with the short- cut but the shuttle- on- demand service made up for that. And so, a more peaceful stay in return.

We loved the friendly staff. Service was great. The location is within 15 mins walk to the city where restaurants, stores and transportation can be found. The hotel grounds and rooms are kept clean. The only thing they could make better is to repair the wall plaster peeling off from the outdoor shower that was in our room. The indoor shower was fine. Plus our room had a hot tub that you could choose to have water from the hot springs or regular tap water. They served us the complementary breakfast at in our room. It was great.

Room fittings are a little bit worn out, although are still being kept clean.

Room is lovely as pictured! Was looking forward to the view but unfortunately the glass wasn't very clear/clean on the outside. Hence we couldn't see the view very well. Otherwise, all is gd except there's no restaurant in the building, which we already knew about.

The staff were extremely polite and helpful. They arranged a free shuttle service every time we went out, and the car came promptly. The only downside to our stay was the cleanliness of the property itself. The vent for the AC in our room was caked with dust, and it looked like it had not been cleaned for a while. The same goes for the vent in the elevator. The bath towel was also dusty. Also, remember to bring your own pajamas as the hotel does not provide a bathrobe or night gown.

Very nice service and good equipment but everything is a bit old. Anyway good hotspring and they even have a small suana in the room which worth a plus star.

The bathing tub a bit dated and expected cleaner. The rubber water stopper not really works and it leaks fast.

The staff was very friendly and very quick to help with anything. The shuttle was very handy and they were quick to call the car for us. I personally didn't enjoy the breakfast, but my husband was into the waffle maker. The hotel was a little off the beaten path but it was nice, we had a lovely sunset view and enjoyed the spa tub. The water was hot but not as pungent or as milky as we expected (perhaps perfect for those who don't want the stronger smell). The room was really cute, I loved all the wood and the design but as mention by others, more pictures on the site would be nice. It's a little more rundown than the pictures indicate. I should have taken pictures but I didn't think of it. Overall we enjoyed our stay (we were in the love suit).

The hotel was very cozy and lovely to stay for the valentine day weekend. The room was very clean and the hot spring tub is very spacious with nice environment. They also offer hotel shuttle services to pick us up from the mrt station.

Super comfortable room design. The only downside is that for some shower rooms, can be seen directly from other rooms! Great to have free transportation in and out.

Nice and Helpful Staff. Room is clean and good with nice private spring tub. Breakfast is good. Although location is not nearby Metro Station, I like its environment and solitude and it is very close to Thermal Valley by a few minutes walk. It is still convenient that you can call hotel to send you free shuttle car to pick you up once you arrive New Beitou Metro Station. On my check-out date when I planned to stay in Beitou in daytime with our luggages kept in hotel, staff told me they can even send our lugguages to Metro by calling them so that we need not to go back hotel to pick them up, what a nice service!

There were quite a number of mixed reviews on this hotel but my stay was quite a pleasant one. Other than the fact that the tiles from the hot spring area was a little old, the room was pretty clean and comfortable. Service was good and the shuttle bus service was very useful for guests whom did not drive. The sauna in the room was not working but they did offer us a change of the room just that we were all settled in and were too lazy to change. Other than that it was quite a nice stay.

Loved the in-room hot spring tub! Only complain is bathroom was rather small.Do book in advance for weekends. We were unable to extend for an additional night as hotel was full

A nice and relaxing stay, though the room was a bit run down. Very friendly and helpful staff made the stay worthwhile.
