Historic home!

The historic 19th century Woodbridge house is so well maintained and kept. I loved the decor and everyone was very friendly.

Beautiful home! This lovely old home has been update with all the modern conveniences while keeping the old charm. High ceilings, beautifully furnished, clean … all the right things to ensure a peaceful stay. It is a real gem!

This is one of the most peaceful stays my partner and I have ever experienced. The house is absolutely stunning!! We were just passing through Windsor to go to Detroit for the long weekend, and wanted to stay close to the water. What a wonderful discovery Kingsville was?!! The Woodbridge House is conveniently located, as we could have walked to the Grove Brewing Company which serves the best Arugula Salad Ever!! We are looking forward to our next visit :)

I had a last minute, quick trip to Kingsville from the US and luckily found this spot. Wish I could have stayed longer! Super easy entry instructions. Loved the house!

Great accommodations, hubby and I enjoy our stay. The house came with everything we need it for a few days away.

Nice historic home!

We specifically found a place with self check-in because we knew we'd be arriving late. We drove up to the building and it was in complete darkness. No porch lights nor landscape lighting. We had to use our cellphone flash lights to find our way to the entrance (which we were told is the side door through the kitchen). The inside was also pitch black. And we had to find our way to the stairs with our flash lights, having never been in this place before, we felt like thieves in the night - it's extremely awkward and uncomfortable. When we found our room, and turned on the lights, 3 centipedes scurried across the walls. We were able to kill 2 of them, but the third went around the strange dark "closet" corner. (Photo attached). The room was hot , no AC for us to control in the room, yet there was a fan running in the upstairs hallway so I assume they knew it was very hot. Better to have put fans in guests rooms than cool the hallway. There were hairs in the sheets and on pillow cases. Definitely the worst experience we've ever had. In the morning, our car COVERED in brown sap from the tree on the property. There was so much we thought maybe someone has poured coffee down the side of the car .We had to find a carwash before heading breakfast.

It's a beautiful building which has been lovingly restored and maintained. We were very comfortable and relaxed during our stay and hope to come back.

Beautiful setup

We had an excellent time staying at this very comfortable and charming farmhouse full of period furnishings, located on a county highway just east of Kingsville in Ontario wine country. We enjoyed making our meals in the very modern, professionally equipped kitchen. Denise (partner/owner with her sister Corrine) gave us a very warm welcome, recommending places to visit during our stay. The experience was well worth the money spent.

The most unique place I have stayed. Keyless and people-less entry but good communication from the owners about how to do that. My room was small but clean and it had a private bathroom/shower. No TV or other amenities but it was perfect for me because I came late and left early. I would stay there again.

Period accurate 1800 house. A true gem.
