Helen is a wonderful host that is welcoming and sweet! This location is great for seeing the main shopping and walking area. Lots of restaurants nearby and 10 minutes to the waterfront. Lastly the decor is truly Victorian and the breakfast is delicious.

I loved the beautiful furniture, designed to be sat on, used, and enjoyed. There was a very welcoming atmosphere, lovely sunlight. Delicious breakfasts, yum!

My husband and I and our three young kids absolutely loved our stay at Fitzroy Hall. Helen was lovely and hospitable, and is an excellent cook! We all looked forward to her homemade breakfasts each morning and enjoyed her stories about growing up farming in PEI. The accommodations were comfortable and clean, and staying in a historic building in Charlottetown really added to our experience. The location was excellent - close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. This was my husband’s first experience at a B&B and we would definitely do it again!

Stayed for 1 night with my partner in this uniquely converted heritage building. Wonderful to chat with the owner who has a deep knowledge of the home as well as PEI roots. Well kept and clean. A very fun experience.

This is a true b&b with a very welcoming and chatty host. The property is a historical house. It’s is well maintained and cared for. I would recommend this place to whoever is looking for a true b&b experience. We stayed on the second floor in a suite with a cute balcony and fireplace.

It is a beautiful older home. My suite was spacious, clean and elegant. The dining room is lovely. Also, the location is very convenient.

it is an historical building which needs some renovations , for exemple the doors do not close properly so we need to block the one from the balcony with some luggages; too many creepy dolls as decorations; basic breakfast; the hoste is very pleasant ;too expensive because of the position in the downtown , however there are a lot of available spots for parking (cad 8.75 by day) , week-end is free.

It was a very, very nice stay, in a fine old home, ran by lovely owners. I had just stayed at a newer hotel the previous two nights, and both stays rate high, they are different experiences. The Fitzroy is sort of like being at home. It's also a very convenient walk to the rest of downtown Charlottetown, but it's insulated from the tourist crowds at the same time.

Manager was very accomodating and professional. I would highly recommend this b and b
