We were given an ADA room which was an inconvenience when showering. It was late and we just wanted to rest so we didnt complain.

The room was clean but smelled musky/moldy like the carpet had been wet. There was no water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was limited in variety and selection.

Our first time here & it was so nice! Large rooms, well lit (kind of rare these days), lots of outlets, had room cooling for us upon arrival with pre-checkin, and it was very clean. Beds perfect, lots of storage, great coffee, and it was great to have a refrigerator & micro as well, even though we just needed the refrigerator. We missed the breakfast unfortunately, but there will be a "next time" as this is our new "go -to" hotel in San Marcos!

Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The decor is not amazing, and was a bit worn, but the room was functional and we slept great! The breakfast was fine; small, but fresh. Staff was pleasant.

The overall area inside the hotel was sort of dirty. The staff at the front desk wasn't friendly. She seemed she wasn't happy to have us. The room right in above our room had somebody running around the whole night. And even if we already called the front desk to complain about the noise, it still continued throughout the night. To make things worse, the room right before our room had somebody who kept on banging on the wall which was right where the head of our bed was. I didn't sleep at all that night.
The breakfast served in the morning wasn't good. Bagels were plain, egg omelets had were tasteless, juice was watered down, there was very little food variety to choose from. It's a good thing we were only there overnight. I was only miserable for 1 night.

Children were screaming out in the pool until close time. Then the people above us, I am assuming had kids but the stomped on the floor until 3am. I slept very little. I expect better sound proofing when I pay $200 a night. Breakfast was gross. The man working the front desk when we came in barely acknowledged us and when he did he was rude.

Easy location to Texas State and other shopping, A/C was cranked and cold when we walked in from 100 degrees, pillows were comfortable and room was quiet.
Asked for a late check out. They gave it to me but we didn’t end up needed it. Free breakfast is average to good but works if you are trying to get something in.

While it was eventually resolved, my initial room had wet carpet. When I called the front desk, a shift change had happened and my concern hadn't been left for the next person. Thankfully, that person moved me to another room. However, both rooms smelled of mold from the air conditioner units. Additionally, the desk chairs smelled like sweat if you sat in them hard. The complimentary breakfasts were robust in choice, and the housekeeping was great. The decorations for the rooms were sparse, but outside of the wet carpet incident, the rooms seemed to be simple, but clean. It was an overall relatively positive stay, but I was hoping for a much better stay given other reviews and the price point.

Check in was quick. Room was clean and cool. Beds were clean and comfy. Great size bathroom with vent. Breakfast had many choices and was the main reason hotel was selected. Overall great value and the perfect 10 minute drive to TSU.

Breakfast was good. Pool was unusable. Water green and cloudy both days. We paid for an executive King suite. We were expecting walk in shower from the pictures we viewed. Just a small tub with shower. Moved to a smelly handicap room with 2 queen beds but it had a handicap shower. I just need to call the hotels myself to prevent this from happening again.
