The hostel was a bit too expensive for what it was worth. With a bit more cash per day you can get a hotel that will include all amenities that this hostel cant offer (which is none, because its a hostel)

The bathrooms were really well appointed; the beds were comfortable; and the pods were a good size. :) They also allowed early check-in which was really helpful. They had a list of events happening around Tokyo for those who don't have a fully packed itinerary, which made for spontaneous fun. Sound management is a bit difficult, as the pods have some open space between them (above the dividers); but I suppose it is to be expected with the type of property. Some information on the train station exit would have been great also (especially if there is an elevator option). Overall, a great experience. :)

It was my first time staying in a Hostel and im glad it was at UNPLAN. Front of staff was friendly and helpful. Overall amenities and cleanliness were superb!

I would highly recommend this hostel; the staff are so friendly and easy-going, the bed area is spacious and the shared bathroom is huge. The local area is also pleasant and is easy to transport to-and-from the major attractions within Tokyo. Would come again!

It is a very nice property with friendly staff in a safe neighborhood.

Almost satisfied. But I didn’t like the curtains are short and the sun and the light which you can not turn off bothered me. サービス、施設設備、清潔感などなど満足です。 ただ、お部屋によってはカーテンがやや短くて隙間ができるのと、二段ベッドの上で天井がオープンなベッドだと、太陽光や街頭、非常灯なのかな？消せない電気が眩しく感じることもあるかもしれません。

Clean, comfortable and friendly hostel in a fairly convenient location for exploring Tokyo.

My friends and i stayed in a room for 4ppl! It was just right and so clean! The hostel was close to the station so that was really convenient as well! Service was great and everyone was really nice!!

The hostel bedrooms stink like old cheese, in a bad way. Overzealous staff, poor breakfast options. Good area though. 2/5 stars, would not return.

For a solo traveller it was a pleasant stay. Super clean and nice complimentary brekkie. There would be more coffee per person tho.

Staff is really nice and friendly, and they can help you if you need. I only really asked something once because I'm already used to tokyo, but others have asked for help. The only downside, is that there are no lockers. But I didnt have a wheel luggage, just a big 40L trek bag so I kept it with me in my “Bed-cube”. But most people had it outside of their bed and I haven't heard anyone getting anything stolen. They also have like a handy phone thingy that has access to maps and routes, so you can take with you while you stay there and not get lost. I didn't really use it, just tried it in my bed cz I had a data plan on my phone.

I had a really nice stay here! It was so clean, cozy and calm! And the bed was comfy! The staff were very helpful! The breakfast could be a lot better though! It was just bread and boiled egg! But still the best hostel I ever stayed in!

Each customers has their own purpose to stay. Other customers need to read something before they sleep but the lights in the room are off at 10pm. How could they read or even check their own schedule or plan for the next day. In other capsule inn like this, its bunk has and all the customers have their own privacy. Breakfast is I guess too stingy in a way. You should at least add green in it.

I booked one night to test Unplan hostel out, it was great. Affordable price, clean and safe hostel. The staff are gems, Peter was so helpful with all sorts of info for my stay and travel. Mini breakfast included, if you're an average eater you'll want to supplement the breakfast they serve.

It was a short stay but a great stay. We booked a private room with a bathroom, and it was actually very large for a room in Japan. The room was clean, and while minimalist, very functional. The bed was comfortable, the heat worked, and the bathroom was great too. It even had a small balcony, but it was too cold to spend time on it, but it would be nice in warmer months. The wifi worked during our stay. The breakfast was small/limited, but I dont really want more than toast, oj, and a coffee (I drink lattes, so I purchased one from the onsite cafe/bar). The welcome was friendly and organized, and the check-out was quick and easy too. The area has a metro about 5 minutes walk away, and many restaurants and cafes, but where the hotel is located is very quiet so that was nice. I recommend staying here for a visit to Tokyo.

We had a wonderful stay at the Unplan. We booked the private family room, but had access to the entire hostel. Everyone was so helpful, and there was nothing that we lacked during our entire stay!! You can't go wrong at the Unplan😊

Near to a subway station (5min walk), friendly staff, quick check in and comfy bed. Had a lovely breakfast at well designed lobby, or you can enjoy at their rooftop! Overall amazing stay and will come back again on next visit!

The matress is very comfortable. You can close the blinds so that no sun can filter through. The shower is big and clean at all time.

I've stayed here more than three times and all the time the staffs were so kind and nice, and rooms are clean and shower rooms and bathrooms were as well. They also have nice free-breakfast. Definitely the most favorite hostel in Tokyo!

When I check in they r not aware of booking I end up to pay extra room I am not aware of I will not use Expedia or this hotel never again

This is the best hostel I ever stay in my life, the staffs were nice, the room was nice. I found out on my third night that they got a bath tub in the shared bathroom, it's coooool!!!!
