Breakfast was pathetic, repetitive and with very limited choices. Checkout time was 11am. We booked for 4 rooms, asked for a late checkout till 12noon, was told that we need to pay 2000 yen per room for the additional1 hour. This was the first time that I encountered that a hotel requested to pay a surcharge for an hour extension. The willingness for the hotel to extend as many hours as we wanted if we pay indicated they are not rushing to release the rooms to the next guests. Strange policy.

Fantastic location for arrival and exploring. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms. Breakfast good but not excellent. Tea/coffee available 15:00 to 21:00 with snacks. Only down side was Tokyo price.

Nice and clean hotel close to Tokyo station and walkable to shopping in Ginza. Courteous hotel staff who were prompt in responding to our requests for additional water bottles, answering questions about the area. I wish the laundry facilities would be expanded though. Highly recommend for a place to stay in Tokyo and would happily stay there again!

Slightly disappointed with our stay in June 2024. Upon entering the room, the bathroom had a urine smell. We let it go for about 24 hours before going down to the front desk to inquire about cleaning our rooms (we had two rooms). There was some miscommunication, as it was believed that we had placed a notice on the door requesting only towels to be changed and garbage to be taken out. However, we had made a request with the front desk to have the room cleaned the next day, yet the bathroom still smelled like urine. This wasn’t my first time staying at a Mitsui Garden property, and I don’t think I’ve ever stayed at a hotel where the bathroom smells like urine. Considering how much we paid, the bathroom should’ve been cleaned better. This left an impression on my family, as it was our first time visiting Tokyo. We were also charge additional tax upon arrival. However, the lounge view, coffee/tea service with snacks in the late afternoon, and the breakfast served were pretty good, which somewhat made up for it. But we won’t be returning to this property. We should’ve followed our gut instinct and chosen another hotel. We went with this property because of its proximity to Tokyo Station.

Good location as Tokyo station was right around the corner and below the hotel is an underground shopping mall with restaurants. In the afternoon the lobby opened up with complimentary drinks and snacks. Room was small but super doable. Had a good stay.

Blanket smell. Toilet no space for hanging towels. Sofa cover had dirt marks. Front desk were nice.

Decent, efficient hotel. Tight accommodation but to be expected.

The location was great other than that just average. It was neither great nor poor. Just average but nothing bad nor lacking anything.

Pretty solid location for my first time really visiting Tokyo. I was able to walk to a bunch of interesting nearby restaurants during my stay. The room was overall pretty quiet, with the exception of some construction noises I could hear outside during the day, but it didn't end up bothering me too much. My gripes were a bit minor, in that the wifi was a bit spotty and that the laundry machine didn't fully dry my clothes. Otherwise, the room was very solid.

Small, tidy, well-equiped rooms made for a comfy stay. Breakfast was nice with western and Japanese options. Very good service with English speaking employees.

Nice room and very clean

Booked 4 superior queen rooms for a family of 8. Then was told there’s only 1 room type per level so all 4 rooms will be on 4 different levels. So in the end, we downgraded 2 of the rooms to stardard twin room so that we are only spread over 2 levels with no refund. Then we noticed the twin rooms have toiletry sets missing which is present in the superior queen rooms. Initially hotel insist that it’s because we downgraded, until we request to speak to manager before they relented to provided similar service in the twin rooms. Sensed inflexiblity in the system and management team. Otherwise location is good, room is clean. Bath tube available. Complimentary guest lounge 3-10pm is a really nice bonus. No gym.
