Adore this hotel! I been staying here for years. Never a miss, rooftop bar is always a bonus. Beach right at front. Would recommend going to THE PALACE for great entertainment/ enjoyment.

Everything is great

Like that it’s right next to the beach. However one thing I did not know & was upset about is there is a server fee that is added on every bill in the area. I wish someone at the hotel told me this was a thing upon checkin, as I was double tipping for a few days before learning from an another customer the tips were already on each bill. Sadly I didn’t see it before & trusted the system & just thought it was more expensive in Miami & more specifically at the beach

This property was in the heart of everything surrounding South Miami Beach. Also my room felt like a cozy apartment and rooftop pool was cute with nice views. I stayed in building A so I did not hear noise from the Bar below. I actually highly recommend building A. This was a last minute pick that actually work out for my mom and daughter getaway.

The room was in an amazing place, right in the middle of everything fun happening in Miami Beach. Right on top of a drag bar, which definitely meant some late nights were had, but I would 100% stay here again.

Property room A503 needs serious bathroom improvements and a heating system that works. The bathroom needs a shower stall. It has a small round tub with a circular curtain that was not satisfactory. It was very difficult to engage the spray hose, and there was no way to hang the hose up for hands free washing. There was a shower head aimed straight down in the middle, that could not be activated- yet it dripped cold water while showering. Also, the hot water faucet doesn’t work. On the morning of 2-23-34, there was no hot water at all in the room. Additionally- the heater never worked, even though the fan ran and the thermostat indicated it was running. This room needs to be closed until a shower unit is installed, the heater is fixed and it has continuous hot water.

0wner nicely advised us of noise due to the club next door. It wasnt bad abd we just used white noise. With the doors and windows shut you couldnt hear the noise that much. Location was superb. Check in was easy. Loved,loved, loved the location.

I hope this will help other families on their trip to south beach. The location for this hotel is phenomenal, in the heart of the city. The rooftop pool is opened to the public, with a very unique clientele. I would say not family friendly. The check-in was awful. The guy at front desk had no desire to help nor cared to figure out anything other then passing us the keys. We checked in at 4pm, the elevator was broken and there was NO ONE willing to help (keep in mind the stairs to the room were tinny. Hard to carry 3 40lb bags). There are 3 or 4 buildings in this structure, our building (A building), looked more an old motel 6 rundown. No apparent maintenance has been done since the 70s. The elevator (when finally worked) shake when the doors opened. The room was old and the pullout couch is for one person at most and uncomfortable. We were 4 people (2 adults 2 teenagers), we had to sleep 3 people in one bed. The room was noisy and the "balcony" was facing a wall and parking garage to the left. The room had just been cleaned, which should have been a positive thing except the smell of chemical was unbearable. We slept with door open and had to deal with the noise of the streets. Font desk didn't even let us present the problem. Not their business. There are 100s of hotels on Ocean drive, unless this is your only option. Save yourself some money and aggravation. Thankfully we still had a wonderful time in South Beach.

The property is between a drag queen bar which is about 20 feet from one side and a heavy metal bar about 15 ft from the other side. And it seems they try to out do each other on loudness. The loud music and show lasted until around 3 a.m. and began again at 11 a.m. every day.

I booked this trip months ago and I wanted to cancel the hotel, they would not give me my refund, so I knew something about this hotel was not good, the place needs updates the bathroom, bedroom, the whole hotel. It was loud music playing late at night and early in the morning, I could not sleep at all, I tried to go to the beach and they didn’t have beach towels available, furthermore it was my worst hotel experience in Miami and I’ve been to Miami a million times…. I will never stay here again and I advise everyone do not stay here

The stay overall was good I enjoyed being right on south beach it’s a busy place but we had fun.

The bathroom seat was broken, the elevator was broken so we had to walk up to the 5th floor each time. We were also locked out of the building one night at 4am because the door to the stairs was held open by a rock and someone happened to move the rock accidentally and there was no one at the front desk for more than an hour. When we called the host more than a dozen times we only got a call back at 9 am the next morning and all he did was apologize but made it seem like we were overreacting.

First things first property conditions (below average) NOT what you see online when booking reservation. Roof top pool very nice layout, but water was dirty through the entire of my stay. Also the pool area is not Family friendly atmosphere. I don’t recommend and won’t be staying there again. Sorry, I don’t have pictures to share.

Very loud music until 1am. No instructions for TVs & something wrong with Direct TV connection in our room & room next to us. We finally figured out our & did same for unit next to ours but there was definitely a delay in the connection.

Nice location, The air-conditioning was on ceiling and it was dripping on us in middle of room

We couldn’t stay due to conformation not being valid by hotels.com so we had to sleep in the car

Host was great rooms were cleaned I recommended I will stay again in the future it’s great location close to everything. They even had make up remover wipes in the bathroom. So thank you so much great location 10/10

Good location close to the beach

The stay was great we came for a quick birthday trip and the location was EVERYTHING!! Do no recommend if for some reason you came to to South Beach and you're looking for a good night sleep. The bar had live performance every night but for US it was a real VIBE. The rooftop pool also had the most amazing views. Ho ahead and book if you're looking to enjoy the are and close proximity to the beach

The location was great, could walk to the beach, restaurants, and bars. If you need somewhere quiet don’t stay here as there is a bar right underneath that is very loud all the time, we didn’t mind it but just a heads up. The room was fairly clean, we got clean towels everyday which was nice. The bathroom door and window in the bedroom were both broken, neither would close which was kinda annoying but nothing we couldn’t look past. The only thing i was a little upset about was that, to my knowledge, we paid $60 each for a “resort fee” for beach chairs and umbrellas, but when we got to the beach we still had to pay extra for those things and they weren’t cheap. Also just a heads up, each condo is privately owned so if you have any issues the front desk can’t help you, they’ll tell you that you need to contact the owner. All in all, this place was great for us for the price. Would probably recommend to others

Room was extremely dirty and nearly in disrepair. Shower was disgusting. Club below is unbelievably loud all day until 2AM. Pool on the rooftop is nice until 3-9pm when its open to the public with a DJ. Would avoid this hotel all together

The location is unique! Bad maintenance of the room. Sealing is leaking, some lights & wall outlets are not working, no cleaning during the whole stay (only towel change and clean sheets were dropped in the room). Front desk staff Estephanie is the BEST!

I enjoyed the stay room was amazing. Only issues were with shower and doors. The shower part that turns on the water needs to be replaced it has a small leak in it that streams water unto the floor. Also room sliding doors are a bit hard to open. Other than that the room was amazing, clean, and great view. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

No one seemed to know anything. Property was advertised as family friendly when in fact it is a total party spot - directly above the Palace. Great drag show but it seemed our young children were th only ones for miles!!

The place had bugs ....was very loud and dirty...just because of the location they overcharge ...most of the guests were thugs ...did not feel safe at all!

The location is awesome, and the staff polite. The room could use updating, but was nice. The rooftop pool and bar is beautiful. Generally a very nice place to stay.

The prize i had to pay on my confirmation page was $159 and i was charged $181. Custoner service at the lobby was terrible. I had to call the number provided to be able to check in. The room wasn't even in the address provided in the website. They took me to an older building next door. The balcony wasn't facing the ocean like they told me. This is a fake advertisement.
