Small, nice hotel…

Right by train station, lovely room, lovely shower, great breakfast, helpful staff. Would stay here again. Easy to see the main attractions of Bern from hotel & staff gave excellent advice.

Our stay was very comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel is very near the train station and a good base for seeing Bern. The room was large and modern.

The hotel is in a perfect location! Walking distance from the train station, restaurants, shops and Old Towne. The staff was super friendly and helpful with any questions. The rooms were immaculate and the showerhead was so refreshing and relaxing, that after a long day of site seeing, it was difficult to get out! The free daily refill of bottled water, coffee and tea were icing on the cake. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!

We really enjoyed our stay here for our one day visit to Bern. We received the mobile passes which allowed us to take the transit system for the day. We dropped our bags off and the front desk person was gracious in suggesting a good day's itinerary. Excellent service. The rooms were comfortable and clean. We looked out over the street, but it was quiet for a Sunday. I liked the espresso coffee maker and the slippers. Great place to stay when you need to be close to the airport and downtown.

The Savoy hotel is a well run business type hotel in the centre of Bern. It is convenient for the transport, local restaurants and bars and the main tourist sights in the lovely city of Bern. The staff training was excellent and the room appointments were well above average for Swiss hotels, which often lack international adaptors. Recommended for business travel or short tourism stop.

Rooms are very well set up including electrical connections on the desk. We got the slightly larger rooms for slightly more, so rooms were comfy, not too crowded, including the bathroom. Great location for a well kept small, boutique hotel

Extremely satisfied with our stay at the Savoy. The staff are very responsive to customer needs. We let them know when booking the room that one of us has mobility issues and they gave us a room with special accommodations for that. The room was very spacious. The light coloured furniture, walls, carpeting and the large window keep the room looking bright. The hotel is very close to the Neuengasse entrance/exit from the SBB train station. This made it very convenient for us to explore other Swiss cities and get to Zurich airport by rail. Bern’s key tourist attractions are all within walking distance if the hotel. There is an abundance of shopping and dining establishments in the area. We would definitely stay at the Savoy again.

The room is too small for staying. Carpet looks dirty and no place for luggage’s.

Conveniently situated very close to the railway station & yet very quiet. In the old town so all sights easily walkable. Free bus/tram pass but we didn’t use this. Very helpful & friendly reception staff. Great restaurant recommendations. Would certainly use this hotel again.

Not luxury, but clean and comfortable room. It is convenient and near the train station, 3 minutes by walk.

This place was amazing! The staff were so very helpful and guided us with any questions that we had. The room was so clean and beautiful. The hotel was a very short walk to the train station which was a just perfect for us. It was also very near the public trams which was very helpful to get around. We loved our stay so much that we decided to stay another night. This has been our favorite hotel in our one month trip all over Europe.

Excellent hotel. Really clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Perfectly positioned quite close to the train station (you can’t hear it!) and to the centre and old town, everywhere is walkable. If we go back to Bern we will definitely use this hotel again

Great location. Near train station for an easy walk but away enough for quiet. Close to Old Town and local transportation. Room was beautifully designed and showed no wear. A great choice!

We loved everything about Hotel Savoy: so convenient to the train station and historic areas; welcoming, informative and friendly staff; comfortable beds; delicious breakfast. We can't recommend them highly enough!

Traveling with 5 people, the hotel was welcoming and incredibly helpful and patient. Enjoy our stay and will absolutely return.

Short walk to all historucal places

Confortable bed, spacious room, nearby main train/bus station, close to the tourists interesting points and a wonderful staff. This hotel totally deserves a 10/10. Best value for your money at Bern.

Amazing spot. Really comfortable Nd convenient. The front desk people were incredibly friendly and helpful. Perfect spot in bern also recommend the anker restaurant for some swiss food

Perfect location. Warm wellcome. Helpful and kind reception desk. Acceptable room size. Clean towels. New and clean bed covers. Coffeemaker in the room. Rich and tasty breakfast. Complementary "Bern Pass". I highly recommend Savoy hotel.

The staffs were very friendly and helpful with the information on getting around town. However, one of them at the night shift topped us when making tea at night at the eating area nearby the lobby. It was a multifunction coffee machine that I only got hot water from it. He came and immediately said the coffee machine is not allowed to use other than breakfast, then he said making tea is ok . It is totally understandable and we won’t touch it if there was a sign, or the staff should have been more polite when approaching the guest on that situation. No one would steal your coffee! I’ve been to 4-5 star hotels in many countries and have never encountered anything like this. In short, the hotel is nice and most of the staffs are very nice. Don’t touch that precious coffee machine, even when you only need hot water and see that it’s switched on. Just don’t and you will be fine.
