The reservation desk refused to provide a room for me until 3:30pm, even though between 11a-1pm (where I attempted to check in) they provided rooms to about 20 or more people, including friends of mine. They claimed that my room was "still dirty". Based to the distribution of customers that we provided rooms promptly well before the 4pm official registration opening, I assumed that the overt denial of service was due to a disdain for hotels.com bookings.
The stay in general was fine, as usual. I have used this hotel frequently for business trips in the past. This time, I since I was booking other trips via hotels.com, for the first time a booked this hotel also via hotels.com. Usually, either I or an administrator will book directly.
When I was finally, checked in at 3:30p, the staff seemed embarrassed. Prior, I waited in the lobby as others received rooms. I did not complain, as I did not see the point. There was a obvious protocol that was executed irrespective of me personally, which I can only guess was due to my reservation via hotels.com. I surveyed my friends, and later others that approached me during my stay that observed my ill treatment. I was the only one that booked via hotels.com. These folks will likely be apprehensive concerning making bookings via hotels.com, based on my experience.
In the future, perhaps hotels.com should not provide bookings to hotels that treat such reservations with such obvious disdain. This encourages me to avoid using hotels.com.

Best omelettes made by the most nicest and welcoming person. Didn’t catch his name but he makes you feel like you’re visiting a relative. Excellent choice and awesome stay.

This is the second time I stayed at this motel. This time we were less excited about our experience.

We had a short 1 night stay, but I was very pleased with the hotel. It was very clean and the breakfast was delicious with an omelette station and various options

The hotel was very clean. I enjoyed happy hour, morning breakfast, and the snacks in the premium suite. The staff were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely book at this hotel again, if I’m ever in College Station.

Nice room that was comfortabl, clean and quiet. Only disadvantage was the partial closure of the parking garage. Limited parking in the garage, and we only learned about the overflow parking across the street (in a separate business lot) on our 2nd evening.

Have stayed here many times when we need to go to BCS. This was one of the better times. Not very crowded, staff was great. No lines at Happy Hour or breakfast, everything was quiet and clean. Great trip!!

Normally the breakfast is amazing, but this time the only thing that was good was the customized eggs. The rest of the area had limited food, it was not hot. We got there 30 mins before they stopped the service. It should be fresh, hot, and consistent throughout the breakfast hours.

The air conditioner did not work in my room. It was constantly on 71 degrees. Other than the temperature… it was a very pleasant stay. The breakfast was great and free cocktails in the evening wonderful! I will definitely stay there again. Just need a room with working air.

Front desk staff was rude right off while we were checking in. We were early, so our room wasn’t ready which was fine. She said she would take my number & call when it was ready. Never received a call. Once we returned to see if our room was ready they double charged me for the 2 night stay after I told them they already charged my card.
Our room had no hot water in the shower. They were told & was never offered a new room or anything, they wrote it down.
Shower wasn’t even clean. Hair on walls. No towels or toilet paper. Called for them to send to the room & that never happened. Then they cleaned our room & again left no towels & took our blankets.
Elevator broke down with kids in there & when the front desk was advised we were told it happens.
The front office staff was very RUDE, all the other staff was amazing. The kids loved the indoor pool & parents enjoyed the happy hour. We will not be staying there again.

Great location. Breakfast selections are the best part. The made to order omelette station is awesome. Mad points to the chef manning that station! Walkable to multiple places to eat. TacoBar is delicious! Hotel needs some work. We were given a handicap room that was really torn up. Hard to use the tiny shower with the immovable seat and shower head was broken. No place to hang up bags or jackets. Ugly view with dead birds. Overall pretty crappy room. Four people staying in the room and were given two towels and no blankets or pillows. Had to request everything.

Nice hotel. Convenient location. However it seems to attract a lot of kids sports teams. Unfortunately we had a ton of kids soccer teams running all over the hotel. Their parents were all in the bar and staff couldn’t keep up with the kids running and screaming in the lobby,the gym, in the elevator, and on the floors of the hotel.
