The bed was good, the room had AC. The shower was fine with warm water. Enough space in the room.
The lady at the reception was a bit grumphy, but at the end she helped us out in her way.

Great location in Antigua - close to everything without the noise. Property was clean and in good condition. Wi-Fi was strong, and there was always drinking water available.

Easy walk to Central Park and lots of activity going on in the area

I only stayed 1 night and arrived around 9pm. The room was clean and comfortable however I had no drinking water the entire night. The kitchen had a water dispenser however it was empty. The young girl who checked me in had already gone to bed and I found no one else in the establishment

The hotel is off street, a but hard to find but the location limits noise and foot traffic from the very busy street. Inside is beautiful and clean. I think just 7 rooms. Nice common ateas and roof top areas. Staff was great except i dont speak much Spanish. We commicated by Google translate on our phones. Plan to stay ahain next year.
One odd thing... we were left one night with keys to the hotel. Told someone woykd be in Monday. We were surprised at the trust!

This place was super cozy and walking distance from everything. The staff was extremely nice and always available for questions.

Average stay,rooms aren't to big, there is no bar on site location was a lil hard to find, breakfast is not included in the room rate and is 60q about 8.00 USD which is a bit expensive and laundry is 15usd a load seriously overpriced, no full time reception kinda odd set-up it's more a Airbnb than a hotel

Great location! The place was very clean and central. Two negatives; I felt like everytime we needed something there was no one at the front desk to help us. We also didn't like the fact that they close the main gate by 10pm. We were constantly having to worry wether someone would be there to open the door for us after a day out. Other than that its a nice little place and very convenient.

My room was large and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The bathroom was freshly renovated and the room and common areas absolutely spotless.
The receptionist was very sweet and they were helpful in arranging a private shuttle for me. I would stay here again.

This is a gem in Antigua! Very clean and comfortable rooms with a large gathering are on the first floor. Well decorated and very comfortable beds!
I love reading a book on the roof top terrace after a day of walking the streets! The views of the volcanos is great day and night!
I will go back in a heart beat!

Hotel la Capitania is very beautiful, clean, and Jenny & Reina are there to help you. Their included breakfast is homemade and delicious, and they can help you make plans in Antigua. The location is a few blocks from the square, next to a church (a bit hidden at first). We felt like we stayed in the "secret hotel" away from others! Their home showcases the wonderful tiles and wood you can find around Guatemala, and the wi-fi and Tvs were an added bonus. You can use their fridge, or buy water, wine or liquor from their menu. This hotel started our trip off perfectly!!! Gracias Reina y Jenny!!!

Nice, affordable, very well-located hotel in Antigua. The owners are extremely nice and accommodating. They also have laundry service in case you need it. I spent two night at this hotel and cannot be happier. The breakfast included is homemade and delicious. I stayed at the room with private bathroom, but the shared bathroom looked clean and private.
