THERE WAS NO HOT WATER!!! We contacted Theodor who said to let the water run for 15 minutes, but after 2 hours it was still freezing cold! We messaged the Property Manager thru hotels.com and NO RESPONSE. While this apartment is very clean, small, and modern with accurate pictures, Make sure they have Hot water before staying here ! Their front door is also EXTREMELY DIFFICULT to open. Theodor said many clients had used the keys with no problems, but I found a review on A--B-b from someone else who complained about being locked out for hours every day! This is an apartment, NOT A HOTEL, so there is no front desk or storage for you to drop off your luggage early. The neighborhood is kinda sketchy with lots of graffiti everywhere. It's located in a small alley that doesn't feel the safest at night. Though it may be difficult to find a decent affordable place in a good neighborhood of Athens in general. There are no hallway lights in the building when dark, so had to use flashlight on phone to go down the stairs. Overall, be careful before booking this place if hot water is important to you!
