This property is NOT a hotel. No front desk. No reception area. ZERO services. Cheapest polyester beddings. Not even a coverlet cover. Cheap terribly used towels. Extension cords constitute the in-room electrical system. No sound insulation. Windows do not lock. Overall a terrible. The WORST price for value ever. NEVER repeat this mistake

The hotel is decent for the area. The beach is not onsite, you have to go to the next town for the beach. The hotel is near the harbor. The staff was nice and helpful.

Love this property I stay here everytime I come to MV

This property was masked by an air freshener. It was overpriced at $330 a night when it was set up like less than a motel. The place smells as if it was just taken from underwater and it is drying out. The curtains were filled with mildew so much so the inside was eaten away. No staff at the facility to discuss challenges with. I had to cut my trip short.

Needs a serious overhaul I am being generous with 3 stars (mostly for good location)

There was no place to hang your clothing. The room was incredibly small. Staff at front desk were the best very nice, friendly, helpful

I had a trip with my mother planned for the first time in almost 7 years. We were scheduled to arrive on the 19th. That day the crowdstrike meltdown happened. I tried calling to explain the situation and the person at the desk couldn’t care less. He was completely uninterested and couldn’t be less helpful. I called several more times and it was the same level of rudeness. When I was finally able to get a person on the line at Hotels.com (and this took days). They cancelled the reservation after hotels.com got involved. They said they would refund me, ad still have not. Basically this hotel will treat you horribly in an extremely stressful situation that is beyond your control and never refund you.

Hotel was easy to find off of the Vineyard Haven SSA port. I took my car over. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a full kitchen and living room for all guests to use. Small fridge in the room. Room and beds were small, but that is what we selected. Plenty of parking also.

The pictures were deceiving. There wasn’t a pool, or beach on property as the pictures showed! Very expensive for no amenities! Staff was very nice!

Still unclear if it was a hotels.com error or a Harbor Landing issue.
I had a room booked for 6/21-23/2024. When I went to confirm the reservation and check in process, (I was already en-route to the island) I was told that they had different dates and that they did not have availability for me. I had to scramble to find a new room-which ended up costing me a whole lot of money that I didn’t intend on paying. I believe I have a refund being issued for my ‘non stay’ at Harbor Landing. But this was a HUGE inconvenience and had my family been with me-a disaster.
I could go on….
Only got a ‘token’ credit from hotels.com.

Overall it was a good stay. The rooms could use some updating for sure - the curtains had holes in them and the furniture was outdated. With that said, everything was very clean and staff was friendly. Our room was ready early which was great. The one downside was that the hotel was not able to hold our luggage after checkout which made the rest of the afternoon difficult logistically while we were waiting for the ferry.

My hotel stay was wonderful. The price for fall season was not over priced. Staff was friendly And very knowledgeable of the area for restaurant and place to go in town.. Rooms were little outdated for the times. But was kept very clean. Great outside patio and meeting area with gas grills for cooking. The Stop Shop Grocery store walking Distance. Everything is very close to the hotel that you may need..

Natalie the manager was the best thing about this property. She went above and beyond to assist. She made our stay more tolerable with her great customer service. However, the property itself is old and not a resort in the slightest way. The rooms were small and there was an odor that smelled like a porta-potty throughout the building and in my room. But I couldn’t open the window because my original room was next to the outdoor lounge deck which ridiculously allows guests to smoke there. So cigarette smoke comes right into your room if the window is open. So no fresh air was available. I’m 5’4 and didn’t need a shower cap because the showers are so low I didn’t have to worry about getting my hair wet. There’s a rod to hang your clothes as long as you are just hanging up short shirts because there was a dresser underneath the rod. The mattress on my twin bed sank so low on one side that I had to fight not to fall off the bed. I was not at all looking for luxury (the basics work for me), but I would not recommend this hotel even though it’s in a great location with a nice staff. The staff can only do but so much with what they have. This property needs a major renovation and should remove “Resort” from its name.

Lots of mold, my husband and I got sick from the mold. They really need to update the hotel to get flooring that’s mold resistant. The dirty old carpet is really disgusting.

Stayed there for 2 nights, whole 3 days as they let us check in at even 9am . Janessa was awesome , friendly and helpful . The hotel has a very nice , clean and well equipped kitchen where we cooked some of our meals to save some money from the expensive restaurants on Marhha’s Vinyard . And there is also a relaxing and comfortable living room .

The property had everything I needed, awesome and professional staff, excellent location and perfect for a few days. The only downside was not enough privacy…when a person in the next room can hear my conversation and I can hear them snoring, well, not so good. Otherwise I would definitely recommend this place for everything else.

We stayed four nights for our honeymoon!!
A bit of musty smell in our first floor room, likely owing to humid island and air conditioning condensation. Get used to it quickly. Also, you hear your neighbors.
Fabulous location! Walk to restaurants, ferry, buses, bike rental, car rental and the town beach. Convenience store next door open til midnight!
Shared kitchen is great amenity. Free coffee! Staff very friendly.
King-sized bed was … perfect!!
Would definitely stay here again!

The staff were fabulous! So friendly and accommodating and the property kept really tidy! All the flowers and planters were gorgeous and common area kept immaculate! Centrally located and handy to everything! We found the room very tidy and bathroom albeit tiny, was immaculate! Quiet location as we overlooked softball field! Thank you to everyone… you all work so hard!

We stayed two nights and had a second floor room. Along with the king size bed and the regular stuff, there was a small table with 2 chairs, a tv that sat higher up on a shelf, and a college size fridge. We were told there was a living room and a kitchen that everyone has access to but wasn't sure where (downstairs). There were 2 grills outside in a patio area that we were told we could use as well. I was a bit disappointed in the appearance but in the end, we were satisfied with our stay. I was surprised that there was no microwave in the room but we had no use for one so in the end it didn't matter. The only issue I had with the room was the door. Light could be seen from everywhere...under, over, and sides of the door, and there was no way to darken the room. The resort was within walking distance from the ferry. I felt as tho the resort does need some upkeeping to make it look like the pictures again. IE the window planters were overgrown, needs paint, rugs are older style, etc. All in all, our experience was great. The staff and manager were excellent. We would stay there again.

Everything was fantastic! Everyone we talked to was extremely nice and accommodating. Natalie at the front desk made our check in process extremely easy.

This is barebones B&B. As such it is perfect for me and is more so because of its proximity to practically everything on the island. The staff was very friendly and very efficient.

The staff here was incredible! They were so good to us and made us feel so at home. We really enjoyed our time here!

The property was not exactly as it was announced on expedia. It is a bit run down. However the rooms were clean. Most disappointing was the receptionist Natalie. Although she emailed us about key points of interest and transportation etc., once we were there she was very less helpful. I would expect a receptionist at least to know what are some places to eat and where to take bus. She had less information than expected. We got more from the visitor center than her. Overall it was an ok experience.

So the saying "never judge a book by it's cover" really applies here. The outside was just ok, dated looking. But our stay there was excellent. Plenty of self parking, super clean, a staff that was over the top nice and pleasant. A plus was the patio, where they have gas grilles, tables and it was a nice place to end our evenings. Easy walking distance to the ferry and transportation and all the shops in Vineyard Haven. A pleasant surprise on MV.

It’s important to know about the lay out of The Vineyard. There are 5 distinct cities on the Vineyard. Vineyard Haven, where this hotel is located is away from the main action. If you want to be near the action and fun bars and restaurants stay in Oak Bluffs or Edgartown. If you’re looking for something laid back and a slower pace than stay in Vineyard Haven. If you choose to stay here bring a car. Don’t listen to anyone trust me. You’re going to want to see the island in its entirety. One day we rented bikes and covered 21+ miles and made it down to South Beach, but we still couldn’t see the whole island. This is is an older hotel, and dated. However, Natalie at the front desk was a sweetie and helpful.

This hotel is within walking distance to bike rentals, restaurants, & shops. The staff is helpful, happy, & courteous all the time.
It’s older & somewhat worn down, but shows signs of constant maintenance & upkeep. The room we had was not comfortable for sitting quietly during downtime. We were all about the activities, so we were in the room just to sleep. The bed was very comfortable! Everything was very clean. We watched the barbecues get taken apart, & deeply cleaned everyday. The kitchen was immaculate, well-stocked, organized, & convenient to use.
