Nicely updated rooms. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking is free but very tight. Well worth the money paid.

Tiny room opened directly on public sidewalk; no furniture but bed; no lamps; no closet; hanging rack above bed; irritating perfume from plug-in took hours to clear with fan (in a room described as ADA- compliant); bed made with only flat sheets, & no blanket on bed; pillows were just tiny mounds of shredded foam with pillowcases tucked tightly around to bind them; parking so tight they had to direct us into space, once parked the doors could barely open wide enough for luggage—in a.m., around 7:45, (on our way to catch a ferry) our car was blocked by a car the hotel had parked in front of ours. the office was locked, we called the posted # & were told “we don’t open till 8:00” & finally were let out 15 minutes later after receptionist came & had to find the key, At over 200.00 after taxes and fees, this room was almost a total ripoff! And good luck getting a refund from hotels.com—they gave me such a runaround when I first found out the room was on the ground floor after having requested a 2nd or 3rd floor that I won’t bother.

The lady that checked me in was very personable and informative. The room was just as the pictures showed and was well equipped. I would suggest better window covering for a darker room when sleeping.

We had a great weekend stay at Coastal Inn. Conveniently located two blocks away from the boardwalk. Staff were friendly. They accommodated us during check in and made the whole process easier for us. We would definitely stay there again on future visits.

The rooms are smaller than the look in the pictures and bathroom even smaller

Parking

Room setup was a bit ridiculous. Barely enough room to shuffle past the bed to get to the bathroom area. Window facing the back had an extremely bright light outside that did not shut off at night and no curtain to block - similar to sleeping during midday. Mold around the sink cabinet area. Main bathroom window had us two feet from other guests outside which was uncomfortable. Parking was in extremely tight spaces where you double park so either your car was being moved by staff or you had to wait to get your car out. Not worth the price and will not be returning.

The staff is very helpful. She helped us throughout our stay.. when there’s a problem with the smoke detector in the middle of the night, she came and fixed the problem even it was already 2 am! Her dedication at work, makes our accommodation worth it! We had fun staying here!

Parking lot inconvenient, broken dresser, not enough soap bars, AC noisy, no paper cups. not close to boardwalk as advertised. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Only thing is our bathroom doors didn't close other than that it’s perfect

Looks recently remodeled. Very nice. Pool area somewhat small but didn’t go there for pool. Had nice room overlooking Atlantic ave.

People were great. Parking was rough. Room smelled a little. They tried. But. It’s a beach hotel and served its purpose. Would stay here again. Room was not made for 9 people.

Check in was quick and easy and the desk lady was super helpful and friendly.

Hotel was clean and updated. Five minute walk to the boardwalk.

Quite good for the price and the place. Staff was responsive. Some issues with maintenance, pool door did not close properly, ice machine broken. It was clean, but I found the claning products had a strong smell of amonia. It might just be me : ) Overall it is very good value for the money

FALSE ADVERTISING! BUYER BEWARE! Their biggest room was advertised as a 800 square foot apartment with several items including two bathrooms. The pictures that are displayed with the unit description clearly support this. The unit was also advertised as accommodating up to 10 people. The unit was actually only 400 square feet and had only one bathroom and in no way could accommodate up to 10 people without being a code violation and safety hazard! The room itself had dirty floors and walls, noisy AC units and a partially clogged bathtub. Since this was their biggest unit, this also puts into question their other descriptions of rooms with sizes greater than 400 square feet... BEWARE! Being crammed into this unit severely inconvenienced our vacation and made it overpriced for what we obtained. To make matters worse, we had to contact Expedia three times and wasted 5 hours on the phone to try to resolve the issue (which was not done to our satisfaction) and the management of the hotel did not accept any responsibility and did not want to speak with us regarding the misleading and false advertising of their unit despite our constant requests during our stay. The receptionist refused to even provide us with the manager’s name. Even after our stay and being made aware of this "error", they still have not corrected the description. These people cannot be trusted. Do not book here, you will find something better anywhere else!

This place was great! The front desk lady was the best! Very friendly and did her best to make our stay great. Loved the pool and that there was chairs for us to sit right outside our rooms. My favorite parts was the fact it was a short walk to the boardwalk and beach and there was even a family dollar right across the street for anything we needed. Most definitely will be returning for next years trip.

The shower was hard to operate and the design of the shower made the water come out on the floor. Not enough electric outlets up on the bed side, I couldn't use my CPAP machine. They need to have chairs outside the room for sitting out at night. The ladies at the desk were very nice but I don't think I would stay here again

The room had stains on the ceiling and walls. The beds were super uncomfortable and tiny pillows. Staff was super friendly and helpful however! I did like how convenient it was to the boardwalk and restaurants.

The motel owner and staff were very nice and made sure our needs were accommodated. The location is convenient to the boardwalk and there was free parking for the length of the stay.
