Very nice stay. We were right by the elevator so a little noisy at night and in the morning but manageable!

Young lady at the front had a line when i got there. It did not take long and she was very pleasant to everyone she talked with. I would highly recommend this Hotel. The breakfast was great and service too. Very easy to check in and check out. Would stay again.

Amazing hotel! Staff were so friendly and helpful. Very clean. Best part is our son left his laptop in the room and they called us to let us know. We appreciated it very much!! Will stay there again!

The bed sheets didnt smell clean, the sound control was poor. You could hear everything, which is sad because it's a newer hotel. When I checked in, the guy at front desk was not welcoming at all.

They want you to check in right at 3 no earlier..thats what lady told me cuz we tried . Then there was a line to check in. Other lady that did actually check me in was nice tho felt bad for her tho cuz other lady Lucy left her with long line to check in by herself cuz it was time for her to be off work.

Friendly front desk staff, quick check in. Room was very clean but did have a strange damp feel about it. Our room door didn’t lock the entire time we were there- as in, we didn’t need a key to enter our room so that was concerning. We did alert the front desk who said they would “look into it”. Breakfast was not great- not many choices and the eggs were cold all three mornings. Overall it was a nice hotel and the cleanliness was very much appreciated

It was clean, pool was nice and clean. Breakfast is your standard Holiday Inn Express, which I find has plenty of options. Kids love their cinnamon rolls. We always stay here when visiting family in Ankeny and its always been nice. Nothing fancy, but you can tell its a newer hotel.

Fire alarm went off at 7:30 AM. Staff said it was a false alarm and it happens all the time.

Checked in around 8pm. The desk clerk acted like I was bothering her. There were 5 long black hairs on the bathroom floor and the soap dispenser in the shower was empty. Had to shower with shampoo. The kleenex box was empty too. Otherwise a pretty nice place as most Holiday Inn Expresses are.

There was a dirty wash rag in the shower when we checked in and dirt all over the bathroom floor. Gross! Pretty sure the batheoom hadnt been cleaned!
I booked a room with 2 QUEEN beeds....they are only Full size at best.

Stayed here a few times and it’s a great experience each time we stay. Breakfast is great, the hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable.

Nothing unique or outstanding. I thought the 2 staff members that I engaged with were outstanding - very nice, professional, and knowledgeable. The breakfast is okay. Not terrible, but not the best I've experienced. It was certainly adequate for someone just passing through and stopping off for the night as we were.

This hotel canceled my reservation while I was traveling with my child. Thankfully Hotels.com called me. The Holiday Inn Express said someone with a rewards card needed the room so they cancelled my reservations. Hotels.com found another hotel for me, but I will never stay at Holiday Inn Express again. Especially in Ankeny Iowa along I 35.

Kelsey was delightful when we checked in late. The hotel is very new and very clean. Everything and I mean everything was very clean and fresh. We slept great. I LOVED that we had ample towels in our room! I am so thankful! I hate hotels that ration our towels.
If I had one complaint and it’s minor, I am light sensitive and the flashing light of the smoke alarm or sprinkler was annoying and did wake me from time to time.

We never stayed there, a terrible snowstorm csme in and we were unable to travel. Called to see about a refund or credit snd the answer was no because it was a non-refundable purchase. There was no compromise

There was almost no snow removal in the parking lot and i has to be careful where i parked so that my car would not be stuck in the snow. There was no snow removal even under the car port or sidewalk. The snow was from the night before and it had been packed down. The bed was not very tidy and the bed skirt was slightly off on one side. The sheets and mattress pad where not smooth. The snack shop had minimal options and no beer or wine. The window heater was noisy and it woke me up every time it came on.
On a different note, the breakfast bar was well stacked and very good.
