It is a beautiful traditional house in the old part of Guadix,with large rooms,big bathroom,and a great kitchen with a fabulous view over the city. Gabi,the owner,was welcoming and friendly.

Great place even for a long stay, due to the spacious kitchen and living room. Safe place where to park a motorbike is a plus

A beautiful old house rich in history. The host was very helpful and eager to share the history of the house with us. The rooms were well equipped, comfortable and very clean. The kitchen/living room was spacious and well-equipped.

Located in a quiet area and close to all sights. Very friendly staff and I felt very welcome from the first minute I arrived. They upgraded me to a better room.

Very helpful owner. You can use the kitchen. Hostal is small..4 rooms in different price range. Located in stunning "streetmaze" of Guadix on the hill. Lovely sungarden in this more than 1000 yo property.

A very beautiful old house. A unique place to stay. The host was very nice and helpful and shared information about the surrounding area and the house. They got a beautiful kitchen and cheap laundry service. If you want something a little different, this is the place to stay!

Save to park the motorcycle in front of the house. The owner Gabriel s very kind. You can also use the kitchen.

This place was so lovely!! The location was fantastic, the facilities were clean and comfortable. Beautiful views and a stunning rooftop terrace! Would 10/10 recommend Casona de la Luz!

Kitchen /lounge area for all guests..Great view from it.. Cooker is very quick but touch sensitive plate can be difficult to use. Enough pots,plates,cutlery etc.There is a toaster but no kettle.Plenty of herbs and spices etc. Books.Comfy chairs.

As weather was cold I found my bedroom was rather cold overnight.

The host was not really there, I had to wait for him when I arrived.

Gabriel was a fantastic host during my stay. He told me about the interesting history of his 1000 year old property and even took me on an evening walking tour where he tour where I learned about some of the interesting legends connected with the town, some of them spooky stories. I really admired the style, décor, and ambience of historic building. Strongly recommended for those who are not only interested in comfort, but also culture and history.

Once at the correct address parking was easy. Room was large (sleeps 5) and the bathroom is at the end of the corridor.

Booking.com directions sent me to the wrong address, that's after spending 15 minutes trying to find a parking space.

For the price, an excellent place to stay. I had a whole, large bedroom for four, to myself, with its own, separate, bathroom. I slept well so bed must have been all right. Good, underfloor heating. Some people might find it on cool side in winter, but it's set to18, which should really be fine. Excellent kitchen facilities. I cooked for myself all three nights I was here. There's everything you need. The host, gabriel, is very friendly and helpful. Very quiet area.

I arrived there sick and Gabri was very helpful from the beginning, it felt like being at home and the day after we had some yoga as well. Super reccomended
