Sanjeev home stay was the first stop of a 7 month tour of Asia for us. India can be a shock to the system for cosseted westerners and we didn't know what to expect when we arrived. Sanjeev really looked after us. The whole family made us feel at home and welcomed us. Sanjeev owns the local shop which was the hub of the village. if you needed anything out of hours he would happily open up for you. He also made sure the local tuk tuk drivers didn't overcharge us. He took us prawn fishing with him one night which was lovely. The family cooked all the guests dinner one night which was a really nice thing to do. We loved staying there.

What can I say? This place is peaceful, welcoming and so so beautiful. Sajeev, his sons, his wife and sister were so friendly, helpful with all our questions and gave us the feeling that everything is possible. We had the best kerala breakfast in the morning, hired a scooter easy and got all the bus informations we needed. The beach areas are beautiful, especially in the morning and the streetfood was delicious. Thank you for the stay.

It was my best stay in Kerala! the house is lovely in front of the beach, the rooms are really comfortable with everything needed and there is a rooftop overlooking the ocean. the breakfast is also very varied and delicious! WiFi connection is really good! Sajeev and his sons were amazing during my solo stay! they helped me renting à bicycle, informed me where to watch the fishermen, they helped me with Ayurveda massage (you get a discount thanks to them) and yoga classes and the most amazing thing was that Sajeev’s wife came to teach me Keralan cooking one night! they even invited me the next day for breakfast and to learn the lunch preparation :) it was such a unique experience with this family!! Thank you again for everything, it was wonderful!! My only suggestion would be to change the WiFi password (private joke)!

It is family business and every member of family are over and above helpful. Highly recommended!

Sanjeev and the sons, Vishnu and is brother are the best hosts that we ever had....helpfull for every our needs,....the breakfast was very good. We usually got our breakfast in the common area, so you can meet a lot of people. I reccomand Sanjeev Home Stay for sure, we enjoyed so much. Thanks to Sanjeev, we definitely came back.
