The hotel is located at the end of the lane. We checked in the evening and the building is old and the staircase and lobby interior are fascinating. Very good wifi. The room is clean.

The receptionist is not aware of the vacant rooms. The first time she offered room no 406 and we went to the room but it was under renovation. Then one person went down and brought another key and took us to room 505 and it was under cleaning. Then again they moved us to room no 504, finally, it was vacant. We tried to lock the room and to go out but the key wasn't working because that key belonged to room no 505. No elevator at the hotel. We asked for towels because it wasn't supplied before we went to the room. The view of the room window is under construction building next to this hotel. All rooms had Very old windows and doors. Due to that sounds from the lobby can be heard clearly in our room. cracked glass noticed in the window. Breakfast is very simple compared to other hotels which I have stayed in Nepal.

Great location! Walkable to tourist area of Kathmandu, for easy access to food, shops, and travel agencies to organize treks, buses, etc. But it is in sort of a back alley so there isn’t nearly as much noise, which is nice. Room was spacious, bed good. Comfy chairs in the room were nice to have. Wifi worked fine. Hot water was good. Breakfast was simple and nice, it was lovely that they would bring it to your room if you asked.

Construction going on next door meant there was a bit of noise, but only during the day so not really an issue. No sunlight came through our window as it was right next to a narrow alley, but that entirely depends on which room you have.
